We had a great few days at Cap au Leste. Our little chalet was charming, providing enough space whilst making you feel close to nature. The views from the chalet and the main building are spectacular and so were the hikes we did on site to the light house. The team were really friendly and accommodating, the food was good, though more on the heavy and creamy side which we didn’t mind as it was already getting quite cold outside. They have a spa with sauna and pool which you can book for several hours to yourselves. We can definitely recommend enjoying the sauna and the view over the fjord from the sauna after long hikes in the cold.

No distractions. 10-15 minute rough driveway off main road depending how you drive. Spectacular views, woodsy natural feel. Trails on property. A nature lovers dream. No TV, no fridge in room. A dream for some people…

Phenomenal place to stay with incredible views of the fjord and lots of activities on-site or nearby. The staff was warm and welcoming. The cottages were charming and the hiking trails great, which made our 4-night stay especially enjoyable. We started each day with a hearty breakfast at a reasonable price and capped off each evening with a delicious dinner at the main lodge. We loved our time at Cap au Leste and hope to be able to visit again some time in the winter season.

It was a nice facility a little bit out-of-the-way. It’s one that you might like to spend a little extra time at to benefit from the Pool and spa. The hiking trails for a great

Had to drive down gravel road for 7 to 8 km just to get there. Clerk was not very helpful. Did not tell us about anything at the hotel. No wifi, no hot water for shower in morning. Cramped in this little room. Dinner menu was one item (pork chops) and pricy. Front desk did not speak English.. view was good.

This hotel is rustic but comfortable, perched above the fjord with spectacular views. Staff was lovely. We thought it was great at first, but were made uncomfortable by the wholesale appropriation of first nations culture including all the cabins being named after tribes, historic pictures of first nations on the walls, and a cartoon of a native chief on the dinner menu. The dinner ($40pp table d'hote) was substantial but not the greatest food compared to a meal in a city for that price.

Rustic hotel in the middle of the Saguenay with great views of the Fiord and trails to explore the beautiful forest and shores. All pine cottages with new fixtures provide a pleasurable stay in a rural retreat. We enjoyed the view, the food and the little lake where you can canoe or swim. Just a short drive from Chicotimi. Pourvoirie du Cap au Leste is a great place to relax and enjoy nature in Quebec.

We enjoyed our one night in Saguenay. The location of hotel is fantastic and well off the beaten track. Food was okay without being exceptional. Our attempt at an hour of kayaking in the morning was thwarted by misleading instructions from the front desk staff so we arrived at the lake to find the kayaks but no paddles! Apart from that, it was a great stay.
