What a lovely hotel and location to explore the city! We would definitely stay at Marthahaus when we are in Bern again!

Very welcoming staff, good location with short bus/tram ride to train station. Good (cold) breakfast with lots of juice and coffee. A bit noisy at times - doors closing at all hours near shared bathroom and some neighborhood partying on Saturday night.

To be honest, this hotel is not too bad, very good location that is very close to train station. It’s clean and safe, it is a contactless hotel, no any staff inside the hotel, keyless doors, you have to check in online before arrival, get code by email. I have no problem get in, but it gave me hard time to get out. I couldn’t get out after I checked out, and stuck inside, the door was not open. Nobody can help, nobody picks up phone. How did I get out finally! Asked someone who just passed door, I gave him a code to open the door for me. It was very bad situation, I have to catch a train.

Great location! Cozy hotel! Lots of care and attention to detail! Coffee, tea, hot chocolate 24/7. A kitchen that guest could use to cook meals was great! The breakfast was perfect! Very clean. After a day of checking out the city we would come back to the hotel to find little cookies available at the coffee station. The hotel gave you the comforts of home! Rooms are small and the courtyard was loud when the doors were open. I would highly recommend this hotel. It was a perfect stay!

Nice, quaint hotel in a great location. Walkable to the train station and center of the city. Staff was great and very accommodating.

Comfy bed, great breakfast and tea/coffee available all day. Convenient location, both for walking into the centre or getting a bus/tram. Added bonus of having access to a guest kitchen and a supermarket down the road. I had use of a shares bathroom and had no issues needing to wait etc. Only slight quibble is that the walls were fairly thin and I could hear people coming up and down the stairs

We LOVED this booking. The staff, especially Evelyn were awesome and very helpful with what to see. The open dining room was a nice place for journaling and visiting with other guests. Great location, walkable to city center, rose garden park and botanical gardens. Good breakfast and hot drinks available all day.

The room was spacious and clean with a balcony that overlooked an interior parking area. The included breakfast was wonderful and the complimentary tea and coffee were amazing. Very relaxing motel.

Checkin was easy. Very friendly and helpful. Nice having coffee available and a place to sit to drink it.

The property is small but cozy. The location is so convenient, only two bus stops to the old town. The facility has 24 hours coffee, tea and hot water available. I really like the hotel. I strongly recommend this hotel.
