We stayed in the separate studio across the street that has cooking facilities. The room was relatively clean, but there was a lot of dust and dead insects visible on the part of the wood bed frame near our heads. The fridge wouldn’t stay closed and the hair dryer didn’t work. Our bathroom sink soap dispenser was empty and it did not get refilled for the 4 nights we stayed, even though I requested a refill on day 2. If you can live with all this, you cannot beat the location for convenience to town and the buses. The studio unit is below the street level so very quiet. The breakfast is ok, although this is a very busy hotel and they were constantly running out of cups, silverware, etc. during the breakfast hours. We had one dinner in the hotel (at an inside table) and I’ve never dealt with so many flies. Sit outside at this restaurant if you can. Lauterbrunnen was the highlight of our visit to Switzerland despite this hotel, but if you can afford something better I would.

The location of the hotel was great and we had an amazing view from our room. The rooms however are dated and the bathroom was extremely small. The staff was courteous and helpful.

We were very pleased with the informative welcome we received. The room was perfect for us with ample suitcase space. The breakfast had many offerings and options. All that I tried were very good and fresh.

The staff were helpful and friendly. Room was ready early so they allowed me to check in as opposed to waiting for normal check in time which saved worrying about temporarily storing my luggage.

Awesome location! Short walk to the train station for the Top of Europe adventure. We had dinner in their restaurant and it was too notch. Staff was great! Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful views from our balcony. The room was terrific.

Staff was very helpful and friendly; my single room was clean with a great view of the falls; water pressure in the shower was great! Breakfast was simple and filling. The only minor complaint I would have is the creaking floors and hearing everyone else’s floors creak but I had ear plugs so it didn’t affect me as much as it could have if I didn’t have them. It’s a small town as it is, but the location is great and not far from the train station.

Courteous welcoming staff. Our room was not occupied the previous night, the reception allowed us to check in immediately well before check in time. Great breakfast. Pretty view from top floor room. Lauterbrunnen is a charming village, great walks right from the village.
