Very nice people who run the hotel but the rooms very creepy first night I had to kill a big cockroach, they need to be clean up more and disinfected

Everything was great, except that they started working on property grounds with electric tools way too early in the morning. Also they should have a policy about playing with balls in the pool, especially when there’s guests sitting close to the pool.

Property is out of the tourist area but in a safe and quiet location. Restaurant on site and beach front as well. We were able to check in early which was nice.

Loved this hotel. Staff is wonderful. Views are astounding. Quiet. Good beds. Two fun cats.

I enjoyed the most that it is away from the noise and traffic. The beach beds in front of the open sea and the fact that they keep the lights all night long was fantastic and special

Staff was attentive and hotel outdoor pool and the view was amazing.

There was 6 of us and 3 children the hotel was nice right in front of the beach great waves and not crowded at all, that was the best part. for the price it can't get any better

Playa Larga is not a surfing beach. It was very windy. Liked the soles at the hotel restaurant. Nothing fancy, pretty rudimentary, but lots of hot water and a very helpful checkin clerk.

It is beautiful hotel right on the beach. There is no elevator, so you have to climb a lot of stairs to have the best view from your room, but it is worth the effort to get the best view. The staff are very friendly and the service at the restaurant is very good and the food is very good quality as well. Access to the beach is just perfect. This is a family oriented place and therefore the pool is not as nice as other hotels, but it is still a good way to refresh yourself. It can be a romantic place to be if you don't mind having families around in the public places. It is also a little out of the way, so there are limited restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but Zihuatanejo centro is a short 15 minutes away by cab or car. Zihuatanejo offers many very good restaurants and bars along with shopping and other activities.

Hotel Marbeya is not a typical high end resort. This is what we love about it. Instead, it is located on one of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico and has a pool that is rarely crowded. We go there for the relaxation, the food, but mostly for the wonderful staff. I have never been on vacation with more wonderful people. If you are looking for Mexico at its best, this is the place to go.Be sure to request a room with a balcony view of the ocean. The waves are incredible.

Staff were very helpful and anticipating our needs. We checked in late and they provided a menu as the restaurant was closing. Then a bucket of ice with 4 beer, and dinner was delivered to our room. We ate on the balcony. Wonderful
