The check in agent was kind and pleasant and my registration processes fast and smooth. The hotel is centrally located to the bus station which was super convenient for me. The hotel has few amenities other than dining, and the rooms are rather basic and small however that is all that I required for my short stay, and the price point matched my needs. Breakfast is included and the variety was very good, particularly the fresh pressed juices. However, the breakfast attendant was extremely rude. I was not greeted at the entrance and after waiting I decided to seat myself. I was later told off and given unacceptable attitude as I inadvertently sat at the wrong table. Evidently there is assigned seating for each room number. I did not notice the sign at the entrance as the message in English was is much smaller print than the other languages. It was not necessary for the attendant to be so openly upset and rude to me for my mistake. I appreciate the need for order however I sat at the table late in the morning when the breakfast room was essentially empty. I really hope the hotel management provides training on customer service emphasizing various situations including what I described. I expect to be treated with respect, welcome, and curtesy, but experienced very much the opposite - as such I do not recommend this hotel.

Excellent reception. Good restaurant. Good starting to at least three trails on the mountain site. Nearby bus station to other villages. Room narrow, one has little place fo luggages and walking around. Only two glasses in bathrome no other in the room., no fridge or ice, water was only low-warm.

Great hotel in Pontresina! The room was beautiful and breakfast was great. Only had a short stay, but loved it!

We loved the Hotel Bernina in Pontresina. We stayed there for 2 nights after riding the Bernina Express train from Lugano to Pontresina and before catching the Glacier Express in St Moritz. Highlights: they picked us up from the train station when we told them when we were arriving, we requested a mountain view room and got a large corner room with great views, the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and all staff were very friendly and helpful. We seemed to be the only English-speaking guests, but that wasn’t a problem.

Excellent buffet breakfast. Very friendly, helpful staff. Close to bus stop, shops. Ski room with room to wax skis. My only complaint is that I was charged in £ rather than CHF at a terrible exchange rate which cost me around an extra £20. I was billed in advance (which was OK as it was a busy weekend) so I had no chance to chose for my credit card to be charged in CHF rather than £. I would always chose to pay in the local currency as exchange rates at point of sale are always terrible.

Excellent breakfast buffet with a lot of choice. Very friendly staff. Close to bus stop, shops. Ski room with room to wax skis. My only complaint was the use of digital currency exchange (DCE) to convert the cost from CHF into £. The DCE uses a terrible exchange rate and so I paid over £20 more than if my credit card had been charged in £. I didn't get the choice about the use of DCE because I was charged in advance. I had expected to be charged in advance since it was an exceptionally busy weekend but hadn't expected the use of DCE).

The hotel was older but nice. We extended our stay because we enjoyed the area very much. Pontresina is definitely worth a visit!

Reasonably priced hotel in very expensive small Swiss town. Very happy with room and bathroom. Abundant and delicious breakfast. While there in February, spent an afternoon hiking on groomed, well-marked hiking trails. Just great!

A sweet small town near St. Moritz with a lot of recreational activities around. And the hotel restaurant is a class by itself!

This is a wonderful old hotel along the route to the Bernina Pass. The managers were extremely helpful and the restaurant was one of the best in town.

The hotel was quite a walking distance from the train station. Not so far away but not convenient when it starts to rain. Location is close with the spa and swimming pool.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and quiet. We would have liked to spend more time but our stay was merely a stop over between train trips.

This is a mid size family run hotel, very cozy and pleasant indeed. We have spent 2 nights with my partner and both of us loved it. The stunning views from the breakfast room are a treat!

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, sehr sauberes Zimmer, gutes Frühstück. Den Service mit der vergünstigten Skikarte war für 1-Tagesskikarte nicht möglich da ich nur eine Tageskarte wollte und nicht eine 2-Tageskarte. Ich wollte nur 1 Tag skifahren. Dies sollte auf der Homepage anders beschrieben werden. Davon war ich entäuscht und ging dann nicht skifahren.

Traditionelles Mittelklasse Hotel wo man nostalgische Gefühle entwickelt. Gutes Preis/Leistung Verhältnis, sehr gutes Frühstück, hervorragende regionale Küche. Die sanitären Anlagen sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, funktionieren jedoch einwandfrei. Tolle Lage! Sehr freundliches, einheimisches Personal
