Great, friendly staff. Conveniently located. Large patio\balcony off the room. The room was next to the back of the elevator and you could hear it going up and down. The shower head kept droopping down. Nice hot water. I would recommend hotel

A surprising time travel to the 70'. very authentic, even the staff was still working there. Value for money and style. Spartan but just right. A rare find!

Loud from the street. Tough hard beds. Broken electrica

Hotel needs urgently renovation. Old floors chipping, gappings between planks. Seems that had water damage before. Room 602 Mattress too hard. Customer service was very good. Breakfast basic but good. Parking space small but free. Overall I give a 3 star because free parking, 3 blocks away from Marques Metro station (three stops away to downtown) and very helpful people. Property needs renovation.

Nicely managed hotel

In general I'm happy with my stay at Palanca Hotel. It is dated, simple but pratical. Spacious bedroom, reasonable storage space, a table and chair. The toilet has a bath with shower (No hair dryer). I could here the elevator up and down, people shutting their door. But at night it gets quiet enough to rest and have a good sleep.The breakfast was great with a selection of bread rolls, butter and jam, ham and cheese slices, yogurt , coffee, milk, cocoa powder, cereals, juice and teas selection too. The check in and check out was quick and easy. The owners and staff were friendly. So I certainly recommend it to everyone for the price it's certainly worthwhile.

Needed a one night stop in-between a long drive, easy to book Pleasant stay and includes a nice little buffet breakfast. Staff have been lovely. Good stay

The room was adequate, according to the relatively good low price. Even though it was an old place, it felt good. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The area around was fine, it was easy to get to the city centre, and we liked the park nearby, too. It felt more local. The first room we were given had an issue with electricity, after reporting it we were moved to a different room and all was fine there. What we didn’t like was the "continental breakfast", it was poor and the second day we didn’t even use it - preferred to eat somewhere else.

A cheap, friendly family-run hotel. If you are in a budget, this is a good option.

The room was small, but the price was right !! , It was a uber ride to get into town , could have walked but a bit far. They did have ham and cheese and rolls for breakfast, I wish Europe had some type of eggs so tired of lunch meat. The staff was friendly, no refrigerator that was a bummer. But right around the corner was a fantastic restaurant, walking distance, can't remember the name but we went twice !! Leave the hotel out the door make a right go to corner and make left and it's literally right on the right side of road, both times we got lucky because it was packed with reservations so go right at 7 when they open !!
