Very relaxing stay, the staff and the owners are super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended as a place to stay if your visiting the area or just need a get away!!

It was a great property, cozy, clean and spacious rooms and a great pool to hang out in.

We love this property. I would definitely go back to this hotel. The people were wonderful. It was truly a sanctuary. The only thing that I wish was better was that our air conditioning did not work well so it was very hot at night. I still would go back! It was the best part of Panama

Terrible service. We ask ifbwe can bring our dog and they told us yes. When we arrive they told us that it has an extra fee and that we can leave it alone in the room. They also charge us for a daycare of the dog. The installation is very nice but the management is terrible. They took a small bbq from our room without permision even though we didn't use it and agreed not to.

Catalina hideaway is a great get away from the busy side of Panama. - great staff - great communication - beautiful location (not necessarily physically located) All were some of our favourite parts As a young couple we would have had this on our list that would have made the trip better: - easier access to santa Catalina ( $10 USD drive per person) - adult only (we weren’t aware kids were at Catalina hideaway, though this is by no fault of the hideaway)

This was a wonderful off the beaten path boutique hotel with a really restful vibe . Wonderful yoga classes and massage therapy! Will definitely be back !

Beautiful rustic venue. rooms are super clean and nice owners and staff super friendly and competent nice restaurant but just wish more seafood dishes being so near to the ocean... fresh calamari, fresh local fish, scallops etc... delicious drinks nice pool but not a good swimming beach reasonably priced checkout process needs help... way too slow

Great resort and owners are extremely friendly. They should do well if the direct flights to the resort from Panama City works out

Everything is great, friendly staff, comfortable beds, hot water, amazing view.

This ‘hideaway’ is so magical. From being greeted with cold moist towels, to the incredible rooms backing onto the lagoon, the wildlife, birds singing, and the incredible pool and dining area, you won’t find a more peaceful and beautiful place. Highly recommend!

We were greeted with cold towels while the concierge went through everything we needed to know. The estate was spectacular and the vibe was perfectly chill. Beautiful long sandy beach filled with shells, a serene pool Surrounded by day beds, hammocks and loungers, and absolutely lovely hostesses working. Our room overlooked the “swamp” area also we spent a bit of time looking to see if we could see Alligators - no luck for us this time. The open shower was totally stunning! Mini-fridge was well stocked and French press for morning coffee!! We had to leave prior to breakfast however we weee able to purchase overnight oats to take. We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant, along with some happy hour cocktails. Everything about this place is spot on.

Amazing boutique hotel !! Excellent service and accommodations. Will be back. Is there a shuttle from airport … long ride but worth it.

This resort was incredible! My partner and I stayed for two nights and wished we stayed longer! The rooms were amazing (we had a fully covered/closed in deck with a hammock) and a cool outdoor shower. The pool was great and the restaurant had really delicious food. Really beautiful place to stay, absolutely recommend!

Menu was good. Not enough variation for extended stays. Fresh seafood options would be nice

We had a fantastic stay and Catalina’s Hideaway. The owners, Anthea and Ryan, along with the staff are incredibly hospitable and made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. Every detail of Catalina’s Hideaway is perfect- from the artistic and funky decorated murals, room décore, and beautifully landscaped grounds. I had the best-ever massage by fellow Canadian, Basia who also taught our yoga classes in an open air studio overlooking the ocean. Everything about our stay was perfect!

Truly a hideaway! Beautiful finishes, amazing room, incredible bed, and the outdoor shower was simply the best! 30 minutes away from Santa Catalina - here more options of restaurants - close enough to go spend the day at and come back. We did the Coiba Snorkel tour, which I highly recommend, through the hotel. It was the best snorkeling I have done - saw more than 20 species of fish, turtles, and sand sharks! The staff is very nice, super friendly, and the on site restaurant serves delicious meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner! I would recommend and look forward to going back. Lastly, the stars at night, simply magical!

Catalina’s Hideaway was such a memorable, relaxing, and beautiful getaway!! Very much worth the trip, with staff that far exceeded the hospitality of any stay we’ve had in Panama. From the proactive communication prior to arrival, exceptionally attentive concierge through our stay, and the delightful oasis of the property, it was a highlight of our trip. The excursion to Coiba Island is a must-do, and I am grateful to the staff for encouraging it- best snorkeling of any trip we’ve ever had. Many thanks for a lovely stay!

Catalina's Hideaway is a relatively new very beautiful hotel reasonably convenient(25 mins by bad road) to our trip out to Coiba Island which was why we were there and which they organized. The place is Bali-style and gorgeous. Very comfortable bungalow close to beach with view through trees. Beach is long and tidal- not a swimming beach but good walks. Pretty pool area. We had one good and one not so good dinner but great breakfasts and lunches and good service early. Management are wonderful and helpful. Kitchen and bar/restaurant staff at night a little spottier but all around lovely friendly vibe.
