NOT AS ADVERTISED. I arrived and was told I couldn't check in despite calling ahead that I would be a bit late. When I was finally given a bed the room was dirty, the bathroom moldy, and the sheets had a very strong smell that made me itchy. The room had no running AC, only a fan that was as loud as a helicopter. The room was significantly hotter than the temperature outside by morning. The central pool was under construction so only a small part of the courtyard by the bar was accessible. When I reported a man taking photos in the dorm at night I was brushed off. When I tried to leave because of the above issues I was still forced to pay for all of my booking.

Hostel Che Tulum is amazing! There is upbeat music almost all day and night. It has an amazing jungle vibe. If you like to party and meet a lot of people, this a great place to be! They also have free breakfast everyday, as well as tours and dinner! I loved the atmosphere, the staff and the room we had was great too with AC and fan.

The atmosphere and vibe here was amazing. Tyler, Millie, and kaylana really made the stay even better from yours to just hanging around the hostel.

Cute location in town, away from the beach but a quick walk to bus station and eateries. Love the nightly events and day trips organized by the hostel. It would be nice to have couple quiet hours in the afternoon and at night. But if you love party vibe all day - this is the place for you!!! Overall, it was a fun stay!

The price was marked in AUD on Expedia and we had to pay the same amount but in usd on arrival. My bed sheet had blood spatters on it and we didn't know if pillow case or bottom sheet were clean or re used. Music stayed on so loud to the point it felt like our actual bed was in a night club. Stayed on til past midnight which was a bit too ridiculous. Food was over priced for what it was. We paid for breakfast included and needed it 15 mins early to catch a bus by 8 and they said no so we left without food. Disappointing

LOUD booming music until 2am every night. None of the rooms provide shelter from the booming music. Staff seemed reasonably friendly though. If you want to sleep at all, don't stay here!

When we arrived our room had not only not been cleaned but rekeed. The fotos of the hostel are exceedingly misleading. It is mainly a place to stay the night for backpacked young people who just need a place to crash.

The hostel provides different event on each week days and weekend. Sometimes there is a free tour outbound in the morning. The public area is nice. However, the bed was a little old and I got a little backache on another day.

bit far from the beach. my hotels.com reservation wasnt confirmed and had to wait 3 hours to get a room. Not happy...

The reviews for this place are NOT for this place at all, & are actually from another hostel. Also, the photos are either taken from this other hostel, or are some kind of weird animation. Nothing from this ad is as posted which is false advertising. We booked this place after seeing the good reviews, nice photos & promise of good times, free bike rentals & a nice pool. On arrival, we walked down a rutted trail to the hostel & were met with a construction zone. The whole place is still being built! The pool was filled with cement, everything was muddy from the builders, & it was noisy. EVERYTHING is unfinished. At 4pm, we asked to see our dorm & were told that we couldn't as they were still finishing it. When we walked past, they were actually in the process of constructing our beds! Literally building our beds as we arrived. Thus every time I climbed onto my bunk for the next 6 days, I would get black paint on my hands. There's nowhere to sit. Only 1 table & 1 couch. It's really noisy, all the time. The hosts are always blasting music. I like music, but not listening to death metal as I relax by the pool. Workers were in our room often to finish the curtains or beds but there are no lockers. There were two noisy pumps outside our room, which whined all night & made it hard to sleep. On the 2nd last day, our expensive coconut oil was stolen, possibly due to the workers using the kitchen. Despite this being "new", most things they've installed are used and of poor quality.

Auberge très animées, avec petit déjeuné copieux. Des sorties gratuites proposées tous les jours et des soirées à thème. Le bon endroit lorsqu’on aime rencontrer du monde, échanger et partager les expériences.

Destacar la atención de quienes trabajan en el hostel, Alex, Lucila, Cody, Matias, etc. todos excelentes personas y bien predispuestos.

Pros: comfy beds, good location Cons: party in the pool with extra loud music until 1am eveeyday, shower with poor water pressure and hot water in and out at its wish, they offer tours starting at 7.40am but breakfast available until 8am.

El hostal está muy limpio y la decoración es muy bonita... sin embargo había fiesta hasta muy tarde lo que complicaba un poco poder conciliar el sueño.. el desayuno es muy básico pero la atención de los chicos de recepción es muy buena
