This was my first solo trip, and I had such an amazing stay! I'll definitely be coming back! It was nice not having cell service and just detach from everything. The staff was welcoming, the food was delicious, and the location couldn't have been better. I brought my furry little friend along, and we had the best time exploring the coastal trail together. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure.

Fantastic place to stay on the south end of Big Sur. Very pretty grounds and great views. Oceanfront, though the trail down the cliff to the ocean is very challenging.

My room had an amazing view of the ocean just as described, I didn't want to leave the balcony. Wonderful bed and fireplace completed the package. Also a nice dinner at the restaurant.

Check in was quick and friendly. Room was nice and the property was well cared for. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent. Cons- please reserve one building for adults only. We had two families with kids near us which made our overall experience quite unpleasant. We didn't have a single moment to enjoy our view due to the constant noise of all the kids. Also, although the food in the restaurant was superior, and our server was fantastic, the employees of the restaurant had "family members with kids" waiting for them to get off work - they let their children run around the restaurant while we were eating. We paid a lot for our meal and at the end of a day of long driving we were seeking peace and quiet. Did not find it in our room or the restaurant. Could be top notch hotel in all areas if minor adjustments were made.

Such a great location to relax along the ragged coastline @ the Southern entrance to Big Sur. Staff was welcoming, rooms were clean, private, & opened right onto the ocean view. Also, I so enjoyed the architecture, the menu selection, & friendliness of the restaurant. They made me feel right at home. It was a beautiful place to be in the springtime. It was a memorable place to spend my Memorial Day! Thank uou Ragged Point for such a breathe of fresh air!

Only stayed one night, but decided if I’m ever in the greater Central California region I will make it a point to drive here to stay again. Far exceeded expectations. Shower was amazing! Food was even better. Quaint, comfortable, and what a view!

Nice property with stunning views of the cliff side bluffs. The coastal access stairs and trail are very dangerous so definitely use at your own risk. Room was clean and the restaurant has good food. Id definitely stay here again!

This place is perfectly placed along the ocean, with many things to enjoy. The coffee shop is one of my favorites and the baked goods are amazing. The stay was great.

It was very nice. Quiet. Did not expect no cell service or WiFi but the office provided both WiFi and a phone. Beautiful views and excellent restaurant.

We stayed for three nights. I loved it so much I booked another stay the following month. This is the place to come and disconnect from a busy world. There is no WiFi or cell connectivity. That said, you are able to get access at the office if you plug into their internet. Not having a signal or internet was not an issue for me. The grounds are beautiful, not manicured but a beautiful rustic coast. The restaurant food was fine. It was nothing to brag about but not bash either. I enjoyed my meal there. Cayucos and Cambria are a short drive away. There are many elevated restaurants in town, and cell signal is strong. The drive to town is filled with amazing views and you can stop at the castle, or see the elephant seals. Our room was AMAZING!!! I enjoyed the short drive to town and being able to go back to the resort and nature was nice. Comfortable bed, VERY large walk in close and bathroom with dual sinks and separate tub and shower. We stayed in the cliff house. There is a shared common area, I saw some complaints from others. I feel this is an additional amenity. Almost like renting a house. The only restriction we were told was no cooking. I thought this was fair to be respectful of other guests. There is a nice patio, living and dining room. If that’s not for you, you can simply use the separate outside entrance. The views from our room were wonderful. This is the place to come to disconnect in a beautiful coastal setting with great amenities.
