The property and rooms were very nice and new. However, they are not set-up for Hotels.com (or expedia) customers. There is really no service or personnel at this "hotel". One must self check-in. The issue is that you need a 6 digit code which was suppose to be emailed; however, they did not send this to customers that book through expedia/hotels.com. I had even reached out them prior to arriving stating my arrival time via the app's messaging service, and they never responded. They have one person there Monday-Friday 10am-5pm, but when we arrived at 2pm on Thursday, this person was not there. Once they finally arrived at their office, they did give me my 6 digit code, but stated that I needed to wait until 3pm to check-in. When I did the self check-in at 3pm, the computer said, "your room is not ready yet, please wait until 3pm". Very frustrating after traveling for over 12 hours. This same person then did something on their computer and asked me to self check-in again. I booked the room for 2 people, but this computer system only provided me with one key. I then had to go back to this person to ask for another key. Why can't they just check us in? The room had no TV. There was a common area with a TV, but we could not access the 4 channels that were suppose to be available, so we couldn't watch the local hockey game etc. The cleaning service is weekly with light cleaning every other day. They don't alway show up.

Generally staff and facilities were great. Criticism is minor. Breakfast was same every day - it would have been nice if something was different. Pillows were too soft and didn’t give a good night’s sleep unfortunately

Accommodation and location first class. Above all, staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

The personal service was friendly, but extremely difficult to reach. The intercom at the parking hall didn't work, no one answered the regular phone, my parking space was already taken, and in the end, getting the car parked took so much time that I was severely late for my lunch meeting. This was quite inconvenient for me, but otherwise, the overall experience was functional

This was our first visit to this unique hotel experience. Checking in was done without any staff assistance- only electronically. The hotel has sauna , barbecue for use by hotel guests. However, what we really like, that you can use individual lockers for your luggage that make it very safe, if you arrive early. The hotel is vey close to the port and all the unique markets and restaurants.

The property was perfect, except for the breakfast dishes, they need to improve the taste or consult some food expert.

We had a suite on the top floor with a balcony. It had a kitchen, washer, couch and private sleeping area. Very comfortable. Hotel is located close to town and several trams stop just around the corner.

Great property for the price. Good location (particularly as we subsequently hopped on a Viking cruise which was only 5 mins walk down the road), and convenient facilities including luggage storage though note the reception is not always manned. As the rooms are studios, the come with a handy little kitchenette and kettles etc which we've learned are not always standard in hotels in this part of the world! So being able to make our own coffee and tea was definitely appreciated (note they supply coffee and fruit tes, though not English breakfast, although there is some milk).

Clean and roomy space. Really enjoyed it. Our only glitch was that we wanted to use gym and found out too late that we needed a special card for it. There was no staff present when we discovered that we needed a special card. Also, one night one part of our party got locked out because our keys were not unlocking the front door.

The check-in was too difficult for me. Finally I got help with it, but I recieved only one key card for my room, and later we (my mate and I) ran into difficulties trying to go to the sauna and use the lockers.

We stayed at Noli for 3 nights and the studio was perfect! They provide you with every essential you can think of! And for the price it was incredible value, if we go back to Helsinki we will definitely be staying here again! If you are a professional in need of work space, they have an area dedicated to phone booths (to take calls) and work booths where you can have a silent area to yourself. If you want to relax after a long day of walking around and exploring as a tourist, then the spa area (seventh floor) is perfect for you! Other perks are that Noli is super close to the city centre- less than a 15 minute walk, you can easily see many of the major landmarks/ touristic sites on that walk alone (Senate square, Uspenski cathedral, Helsinki cathedral, Helsinki city museum etc), plus there is a K-market right on the corner of the studios, so you can get snacks and stuff to take back home very conveniently!

The room was so cold when we arrived that we set it heating and went away, the air conditioning display said “8h to reach target” and unfortunately that turned out to be true. We noticed later that the window was poorly closed, so that may have contributed. In any case, miserably cold evening start made us avoid the room until we could get into bed - sleeping in cool is nice, but super-slow response time of air conditioning is odd.
