A nice apartment right in the middle of the scenic town that is Ulverston. The three bedrooms are of varying sizes (one small single, one good sized double and finally a very large double on the top floor). A minimalist aesthetic to the apartment is nice and the kitchen is stocked with a decent range of utensils. Overall a lovely place to stay for a week.

Very convenient for all amenities. Overall, a good place to stay, but just 2 comments to make: We stayed in the Helsinki apartment and the main bedroom was at the top of an incredibly steep staircase. Two of our party are getting on a bit and would not have wanted to tackle it! Luckily all other rooms were on the floor below so not a problem. I do think this MUST be mentioned when booking as it’s a very valid objection not to stay there. The remote control didn’t work for the tv - not an issue for us as we were out mostly. It’s probably just the battery that needs changing. In fairness, I’m sure Diana from Nordic would have sorted it if we’d phoned her.

Diana was very welcoming and her communication made it really easy to find the property and to check in. The property was clean and tidy with bedding, towels, a hairdryer, cutlery and crockery and well stocked with fun board games, tea, coffee, sugar and milk. It was a quiet location with some great places to eat nearby, she also provided leaflets and information about local places of interest. The one thing we thought might be a good idea was a couple of take away menus as one night we didn’t fancy going out to eat but didn’t know what takeaways there were nearby. Parking was easy and straightforward on the nearby public car park and you could pay through your phone which was super handy! I’ve recommended it to several friends already and would definitely stay here again if we’re in the area! :)

This apartment is a great location for shops, train station and local area. Could not fault the apartment and the communication with Diana was great. I would definitely recommend staying here.

No heating turned on when first arrived. Flat freezing. Only the storage heater in the lounge worked. Bedroom was cold for whole stay. I would not recommend staying here in the winter months.

Unbelievable noise & disturbance from the suite above until 04:00. Hence no sleep. Quite unacceptable

great location, very convenient for Ulverston, and well appointed apartment but it is very noisy from the flat above due to the wooden floors

Centrally located and in the process of progressively being renovated. Absence of free parking a detracting factor.

Nice enough place but a few details let it down. As has been mentioned before, the 'double' bed in the Copenhagen Suite is actually two single beds pushed together - and one of them squeaks ! Also, the use of wooden floors throughout the complex is not that wise. Our suite was downstairs and we were kept awake by people moving around in the one above. Plus the other guests made a noise bringing bikes in and out with them (including up and down the stairs); not on, really.

I stayed in the Nordic Suites while travelling on business, the pin pads to get in to the property and rooms are slick and worked very well, saved carrying a key around, parking was right around the corner and was free from 6 in the evening till 8 the following day which was great for someone who was working, the apartment itself was clean, decorated and furnished accordingly, all in all a perfect stay I would happily recommend these Suites to those travelling to Ulverston for business or pleasure alike.

Good stay, will visit again for sure. Only main negative is thatbthe double bed is 2 singles pushed together and the gap between the 2 is very uncomfortable.

The place is as suggested by its name a suite of rooms, simply but tastefully furnished with a well equipped kitchen. There is no on site management but access is seamless. It has a good central location with paid parking a few meters away. Can be noisy at night with late night revellers as doesn't appear to be double-glazed. Close to the wonderful Gilliams cafe for breakfast if required.
