Property was clean and relatively easy to locate. Instructions on how to enter the building were sent the same day as arrival at 14:30 so a bit late and the WiFi did not work at all anywhere except the ground floor(my room was on the second floor). Other than this it was a pleasant stay.

Extremely noisy. Especially after coming from a 14 hour shift. It’s extremely noisy. From both outside and inside. I didn’t sleep for the 2 nights I was there

I booked a room at the last minute as I missed my train. I was not expecting luxury and I knew the room would be basic, but this was one of the worst places I ever stayed at. The mattress was wet from the previous guest so I had to strip the bed and sleep under the mattress protector on the bare mattress. The mattress protector was sheding feathers, so I woke up in the morning completely covered in feathers. This place is disgusting and should not be allowed to accept reservations. There is a big difference between basic and filthy. I contacted the number I was given and the lady I spoke to was pleasant, but she could not do anything in the middle of the night. Trully awful.

For the price (£30) for the night, it was decent enough. Was in the city for an evening function so was purely a bed to sleep on. Room was compact but had a small table and chairs, TV, kettle. Bathroom was tiny but did what it needed with a new electric shower. The room was very clean but, the bathroom especially,

Very basic, but clean and had all that was needed, hairdryer, iron, shower etc, so ok for a couple of days stay. Parking was the main issue. Could do with modernizing. Security to property and rooms good. Location was good with easy access to centre of Brighton and beach areas. Enjoyed our stay.

The location was great, the room as okay to stay for a night. But cleanliness would need to improve as the shower did not seem cleaned, there were still hair everywhere.

I cancelled my room due to poor customer service and being asked for extra money. My friend stayed over in Room 5 and said it was the worst night ever! Staff and friends partied all night in my paid room - after I was told they REFUSE to let me cancel. Party ended when my friend exited the lodging. The bed is nothing to what they show you on the website. Frankly - I feel both my friend and I have been scammed.

The check in experience was pretty dreadful. We waited ages for someone to turn up to give us the code, they then didn't give us the external door code (but luckily an email came through hours later, before we were back to attempt access) then a new email with a change of code arrived, but that code was wrong and in fact the earlier email had the correct code on it. The noise in the hotel from people coming and going all night was dire and the bed was uncomfortable. All in all, only worth it if like most other guests last night, you don't want a guarantee of having access to your room or a good night's sleep!

I’ve stayed here on three occasions, each one worse than the one before and only returned due to the convenient location and low prices (at the time). The beds are uncomfortable, and the rooms were cold (small heaters are provided but these are small and noisy). You can hear every noise throughout the property and most nights I had barely any sleep, the worst night was when a couple had managed to get into the property but couldn’t access their room so we’re trying to get into my room! They had tried typing random pins as you can hear when someone is putting a code in and eventually called the helpline, as the walls are so thin I could hear the whole conversation and it turned out they had not submitted their ID to get the check-in details yet! I felt so unsafe especially as a solo traveller, when I contacted the property their response was just a template sorry and that it’s an unstaffed property. If sleeping and comfortability are not priority then staying here is fine but otherwise I would avoid. After 3 chances the only thing that’s good about this place is its location.

Booked this hotel two weeks in advance, paid for a "Deluxe" room which is a larger room with an ensuite with a bath tub and a balcony. When I arrived I was dismayed to find that I had been allocated a tiny room at the top of the building with no bath and no balcony. To make matters worse, there was no remote control provided for the TV, so not only did I have to deal with claustrophobic conditions, but I didn't even have a distraction. I was woken by a fire alarm going off for at least 10 minutes, and then later by a staff member finally bringing me a TV remote. I did of course complain about the room allocation, and was assured that I would be moved the next day, but the staff member who brought the remote control seemed to have no knowledge of this. I later left and found somewhere else to stay. SO disappointing because when I stayed before, the room was great.
