Great location next to the river and within easy walking distance of the historic centre. Breakfast was high quality with a good choice. The only downside was that the air conditioning struggled to cope with the 33 Celsius temperature we experienced on the night of our stay.

The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was spacious and clean with all the essentials. The parking was very safe and convenient as well. Plus the location could not have been better! I would highly recommend the Hotel Krone.

Beautifully located just steps from the Neckar River and two very short blocks from the start of the Altstadt or Old Town area of Tubingen. A bit pricey compared to other hotels where we have been staying.

The hotel and staff were great! My sister and I stayed one night and were treated to an upgraded room. The AC was refreshing during a heat wave and parking was very easy. We also enjoyed drinks at the restaurant next door. Complimentary breakfast was high class and delicious. We would absolutely stay again!

A historic hotel in a beautiful area with access to downtown Tübingen

Great locatio

This was the fourth time staying at this wonderful hotel. The staff is so welcoming and professional even though I speak 0 German. We hope to return to this amazing property again and again!

Hotel Krone is always the best! Very accommodating and so only stay there when in Tubingen!

Generally ok with nice wood accents. However, this would not fly as a 4 star hotel in most places. Rooms are old and lack any significant updates. Not worth the price.

I like the fact that it is close to the Tübingen train station (5 min. walking distance). It is very centrally located and it has an excellent restaurant (Ludwigs). The rooms are very clean, modern, and noise-free. The breakfast buffet was superb (eggs, salmon, German meats, German breads, a home-made muesli, fruits, cereals, excellent coffee, etc.)

Hotel Krone is very convient located, 10 minutes from the bu or main train station. 2 minutes from the bus stop on the Neckar bridge with connection to most parts of the town. it is just over the street from zinser, the major clothes shop in town and many other shops. Withing 5-10 minutes you are in the historical centre of the town. the rooms are ok sized, depending on your price categorie. Some have good sized bath rooms with large walk in showers. Not all rooms have a mini fridge ( mine did not have one) which is a bit disappointing if you pay over 400 Euros for two night parking. The beds are ok, maybe a bit firm but this is clearly a very individual thing, some like soft, some like hard beds. Likes: Facilities, good breakfast buffee (if weather allows you can sit outside), very good restaurant, very convinient position of the hotel Dislike: the rooms have not proper rollos / black out curtains so the room is very bright at 5 am in the morning during the summer. They put a dark blanket over part of the window if you want but this is not possible for all parts of the windows so the room will continue to be bright. With proper black out curtains this would not be a problem at all
