The hotel policies are somewhat ridiculous and the price you pay for this hotel is well beyond the quality. I have stayed at Motel 6’s with the same quality for better prices.

Garbage management. Not willing to help and have strong lack of customer service. We had to cancel last minute due to an unforeseen issue. Hotels.com stated it’s all up to the hotel for any refunds, hotel stated you have to go through hotels.com. A lot of back and forth. Additionally, both the hotel and hotels.com cited strict cancellation policies, which to their credit is plainly listed. Please understand that all hotels have discretion to cancel a reservation or not. Even if it goes against the stated policies. I had two nights booked and originally they stated the full two nights for both rooms will be charged the full price. After multiple conversations between me and them, me and hotels.com, and them and hotels.com the management informed me that they could cancel/change the reservation for at least the second night. Charged only for the first night. For over an hour on the phone, they both stated that there is nothing that can be done. No mention of changing the reservation to avoid the full charge. They had plenty of opportunity to mention this up front. Just like most hotels, there are policies in place to avoid empty rooms when they could be fully booked. But based on the conversations, they were willing to hide any possible options to ensure the full amount is charged. The Copper Hotel is not a place to stay. They are willing to lie to you.

My stay at The Copper Hotel, SureStay Collection by Best Western in Camp Verde, AZ, was nothing short of a nightmare. This property has issues that make it not just uncomfortable but downright unsafe, Accessing the second floor requires climbing steep steps—14 from one side of the building and 21 from another—without any flat resting areas. While I’m not certain about Arizona’s building codes, this design seems to violate regulations in many U.S. states and poses a significant hazard. The hotel’s condition is unacceptable. The office furniture and the interior—including the rooms—was outdated and unclean. Worst of all, the building allows unauthorized access through a second entryway. Noise was constant throughout the night, coming from neighboring rooms, the refrigerator, and plumbing. Around 3:00 AM, I was awakened by someone persistently knocking on a nearby door—at least eight times. When I opened my door to investigate, I noticed a young girl wandering the hallway. Disturbances continued with loud partying from other rooms. The staff added to the unpleasant experience. The morning front desk attendant was dishonest, shortchanging me by $3 during a transaction. Adding insult to injury, I checked into another hotel the following day, which was cleaner, more modern, and charged nearly half the price of The Copper Hotel. Overall, I urge federal and state agencies to inspect this property and consider enforcing a demolition order.

For one night it was ok. Nice staff and service. Some repairs need to be done, stubbed toe on tile in bathroom where transition was missing from floor. Hair in tub. Beds worn.

They advertised having indoor heated pool, and jacu, but neither were accessible. That was the main reason for my stay.

I saw this place had fairly good reviews online so I booked. However, the name The Copper Hotel is misleading because this is a motel , definitely not a hotel. It’s more like a motel six. The room was super small, the walls are like tissue paper, you can hear everybody else in the hotel. It’s weird that the sink was in the bedroom, outside of the bathroom. Also, we put the maid service door hanger on our door, and nobody came and cleaned our room or refreshed our linens. We had to just go to the front and ask for more towels. Definitely will not be going back.

Staff was friendly and allowed me to check in early. I had hurt my shoulder in a fall so I needed some rest! Over all a nice place to stay.

There was a gap under the door and the sound from the hall and lobby came under the door into room 103 and woke me several times during the night. Also, the bed was very firm. Everything else was good. Good location and good value.

Our first issue was in finding the place. The name "The Copper Hotel" is no where to be seen from the road due to the rebranding of "Surestay". The room was nice enough, but our refrigerator was really noisy - a buzzing/rattling would some on intermittently. It was loud enough to need to keep adjusting the TV volume when it would start up. The next disappointment was the so-called "breakfast". "coffee" might be a better description. I think there may have been like 2 small rolls left by the time I came out.
