Lovely and friendly

We stayed at bottom floor and there was much noise and running on the floor above us, the beds was to soft and the pillows extremely hard

This hotel is ok. We booked two three single bed rooms and ended up with one single bed and one sofa bed in each room. This is not the same and the sofa bed was noisy and uncomfortable. When we arrived it felt like we were a nuisance. It was 21:30 and we asked if we could have a bottle of wine and we were told we could only have one in our room. Meanwhile the restaurant was still open and serving food. How unwelcoming can you be???

We discovered this hotel on one of our trips through Europe and it has now become one of our favorite places to stay overnight. Guest friendly, good food and professional service. Warm recommended!

Good value, excellent rooms and very nice breakfast.

Excellent service and lovely rooms (we stayed at the annex across the road). We did not have dinner at the hotel, but breakfast was good. I will definitely stay here again!

The room was very clean and well maintained. The service was excellent, nothing was a problem.

Only needed a one night stay & this hotel was perfect.

We had a very pleasant experience, probably the best value for money we have tried, very nice big room with a little tea kitchen, which was very convenient, even though we only used the fridge. The staff was very helpful, and it was very nice to communicate in Danish, even though we were in Germany. The breakfast buffet was also good, it had some of the best both softboiled and scrambled eggs, we have ever had in a breakfast buffet. All in all, a very very pleasant experience.

Comfortable stay in motel-type hotel. Several supermarkets close by. Only stayed at hotel enroute home. Nice to have kitchen area with tea & coffee making facilities.

We stayed one night on route from Copenhagen to Berlin. It was great for the price.

We booked the Gasthaus due to vicinity to Autobahn. We were positively surprised. It is renovated with good, clean rooms and bathroom. The room size is quite fine. It is good value for money. So we would not hesitate to stay there again.

Located close to the German/Denmark border and with easy access to the huge Scandinavian Park Retail site. What a great hotel! So many extras in the room and the accommodation was of a very high standard, still can't believe it was only rated 2 stars on the German Hotel ratings system. In the UK I'm sure it would be at least a 4 star. We ate in the restaurant which is part of the hotel and the food was excellent, and a lot of it, very generous portions. On the whole a great experience.

We were travelling so we chose the hotel as it was easy to get to, and back to the motorway. The staff were all friendly. The evening meal was very good and the breakfast excellent. The room was large and comfortable and tea and coffee making facilities much appreciated. We might stay again and we recommend the Guesthouse.

We arrived quite late, and amid the busyness of a wedding celebration, but the staff welcomed us with warm professional help, and prompt attention to our needs. We enjoyed ourselves that evening, and were happily surprised by the excellent breakfast buffet, and the helpful, friendly staff.

Wonderful food and very helpful staff. The room was perfect with a coffee machine in place!
