I was looking for an inexpensive place to stay for a wedding in Traverse City. For how much it cost it was exactly what I needed. I am a fisherman and was a little disappointed I couldn’t fish off of the docks that were outside my door. The room was a bit better than I expected, very comfortable, AC worked great.

There is only one very small bathroom for a place that is advertised to sleep 6. The shower leaks constantly, which we were not told about until our first or second day when I saw the young lady cleaning the room next door and asked for more towels as the bathroom stays wet due to constant dripping and there is no fan in the bathroom. She said the problem was in the wall. The bathroom was always wet, the shower stall was old and mildewed, very unsightly and unsafe for us 60+ adults trying to get cleaned up over multiple days & nights. The staff was very nice.

Loved the whole vibe of the lake. I would encourage others to screenshot the door code/entry instructions as I could not get a signal and had to drive back to a gas station for wifi (makes sense in rural Michigan) so that I could login.

A clean convenient place to sleep. Which is just what we wanted.

Opening day of gun season. The room was 10 minutes from our property!

My first time staying at this location and I was pleasantly surprised by many things. The room was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The sunrise on the lake was absolutely breathtaking and so calming. Just what I needed.

The lack of a “front desk” or onsite assistance is a bit frustrating but we stayed longer than your average visitor so that may not be a common issue. Otherwise, great property on Fife Lake.

Excellent stay, beautiful area

The code given to us for unlocking the door did not work. I had to call to get a new code. There was a huge spider on the floor.

This place was exactly as advertised. Quiet with a great view of the lake. Easy access to grocery/gas. Nice hot shower as well. I would stay here again! It was very nice to have a full refrigerator and freezer as well as a stove and oven to be able to cook meals as well.

It was clean and quiet. The bed was super comfy! I had a great view of the lake out my back door.

Beautiful lake view. Very relaxing. The room is outdated. Carpet was very dirty. Being ground floor lake property, the room was musty smelling and bathroom had a very strong odor. Cleaning staff did pour cleaner in drain of shower and that helped a lot.

Great hospitality & location on lake

Easy check-in and check out. Clean with a spacious room and bathroom. Since the bathroom is so spacious, I would recommend adding an additional table or shelves to accommodate additional accessories and such.

It was beautiful views and a cute apartment. Water pressure was poor and the circuit breaks if you run more than one appliance in the kitchen. Staff was friendly.
