I stayed here for three nights to accompany my child to the Banten Provincial Chess Championship. The hotel was far away, and the mall was deserted. However, the hotel and room service were excellent. Breakfast was delivered to my room, and the menu was always fried rice.

Staying here is okay, especially with kids, as there's a children's play area and a swimming pool that's open until late. The rooms are okay, but the floors are a bit sticky, probably because there's too much dish soap. Breakfast is decent for those who can't be bothered to go out and buy something.

This hotel is really cool. It's directly integrated with the Sogo mall in Executive Merak. It's comfortable, affordable, and has lots of rides for the little ones. Good job, guys! See you next time.

Hotel Sosoro Merak is the top choice for a rest stop during your ferry crossing. Bringing families with children is guaranteed to be a blast, with free access to the Sunset Mall (rainbow slide, swimming pool with ferry views, white sand slide, etc.). The rooms are clean, cool, spacious, with large bathrooms—all in all, comfortable. Finding food and snacks is also easy (since the hotel is inside the mall and also accessible by ferry). If you're planning a long journey to Bakauheni, Hotel Sosoro is the perfect choice. Hope this helps.

The AC wasn't cold, so I was too tired to complain and had to go to the first floor. There was no phone in the room, so I just went to bed even though it was a bit hot in the room. The hotel staff were not very friendly, especially the receptionist and security. The hotel instructions were lacking, so it was a bit confusing to check in, having to go to the first floor first, even though the hotel rooms are on the third floor. There was a small cockroach in the room, not much, but it was disturbing. Overall, it was okay for a 1-night rest.

I've stayed here twice, and so far so good. The bathroom, the bed, everything is clean.

The room was spacious and clean with a beautiful beach view. The location on the pier made it easy to get around. The staff was prompt and friendly. I'd stay here again if I'm in transit next time.

I booked here for a transit from Lampung. Thankfully, check-in was fast, the room was clean, comfortable, and fully equipped, except for the hair dryer. But for a last-minute stay and a transit stay, this is the best. Unfortunately, the swimming pool and playground are under construction. The sunset area is also under construction. It's okay, as long as you get to experience sleeping at the harbor, and it's very comfortable. Breakfast is also delivered to your room because it's under construction.

It was quite comfortable for my wife and I, but the breakfast was not buffet style and we couldn't request a la carte.

Please improve communication between staff. The receptionist informed us that breakfast was at 7:00 AM. We requested breakfast at 6:30 AM. The receptionist confirmed with the kitchen that it was available for takeout at 6:30 AM. It turned out that the kitchen staff had already served breakfast to our rooms at 6:30 AM. Why couldn't we have requested breakfast at 6:30 AM if it was served at that time? All the facilities were good, but this was the only downside for us.

Close access to the port and train station. It's also close to beach destinations. It's also connected to a mall. It's definitely worth it, in my opinion.
