Lovely spacious stay at this pub for my family, loved the little touches.. fresh milk in the room, with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Large comfy beds. Staff were very friendly, and we had dinner here too which was delicious and well priced. Only thing that let it down were the light curtains giving us an early wake up, a black out blind would be a perfect addition! Well located for Forbidden Corner and Druids Temple.

Lovely rooms. Nice local pub atmosphere with dining. Car parking was limited and tight to get in and out of.

I arrived after 8pm, but had been alerted in advance to the kitchen closing at that time, so had adjusted my meals accordingly. What a great welcome you get in this community-owned pub - you almost feel like a local! All six rooms look spotless and really comfortable. Mine looked out the back and towards fields and a hill. There was a basket full of drinks and sachets - including drinking chocolate, which seems to have vanished from most other hotels. And the en-suite was sparkling. It was great to relax in the bar for an hour that evening. A full, delicious English breakfast was relaxingly served at 9am. Parking was at the back of the hotel, through a narrow stone archway. I give 5 STARS to this community for their guts and ambition to deliver such a beautiful Inn.

Nice little pub, close to my job. No food available mid week, but they kindly catered for me with excellent meals both nights. Thank you

Great family room, with loads of space, comfortable beds, nice big bathroom, clean, convenient and an OUTSTANDING breakfast hamper provided for us. Just be mindful of that you are booking a room in a pub above a bar, and so you WILL hear noise until late. Personally, we were fine and thought it was part of the character of the place, but if you've got small children and need peace and quiet, it's probably not for you. We loved it though, and you never know, you might even want to join in the quiz 😀

We booked a family room which was spotless and comfortable. We booked brekfast which was good, although service was slow. The pub itself is a little ‘tired’ and the owner/manager would do well not to host a lock-in til midnight - right below the family room!

Nice pub, lovely room, very friendly service. We had an excellent cooked breakfast, and enjoyed a tasty, leisurely evening meal in the adjoining restaurant. The only niggle that we had is that you can't check in until 6pm, in fact the pub didn't open until then. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.
