Booked a comfort room but it was very basic. Room 1. Double bed was against the wall then it was the door it was that narrow. Partner had to climb over me to go to the loo in the night. No wardrobe just a rail, a corner shelf with kettle, cups, glasses and tea coffee etc. TV on corner bracket, fan and pull down blind. It was very clean, the bed was super comfy as were the pillows. The bathroom newly redone with excellent shower. Could get in and out the back door rather than going through the tiny bar past people. Paid £19 extra for breakfast in sister hotel next door which was excellent 👌

The breakfast was excellent but wasn't at the Lady Hamilton it was 2 doors down. The double room was tiny, more suited to a single room. There was a very small space between the wall and the bed and care was needed not to nudge the kettle on the way past. No space for furniture although a hanging rail and a few shelves were behind a curtain. There was a stool. To exit the property there was a steep staircase and a fire door that shut behind you. You had to be quick to get out of its way. The bar was 2 doors down where all the staff were lovely.

The staff is friendly. The breakfast is convent. The room is clean, but the air is a little bit musty.

I absolutely loved my stay at Lady Hamilton! I was in town for the historic dockyard and was thrilled to find a room in a historic pub! They were were helpful with my check in time (which was out of normal hours due to a delayed flight etc etc). The room was very spacious and The bed was comfortable. Even better my room had a view of the HMS Warrior! You’re also very close to many great pubs and a short walk from the main dining/shopping areas. I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone visiting - especially if you’re here for the history. It really puts you right into the historic naval world and you couldn’t be closer to all the main attractions!

Wasn’t the cleanest room however the breakfast included & facilities were good, staff in the Keppels head were great. Parking was a bit of a struggle as it’s street parking only & a permit is required (£5 per 24 hours). Was what we needed for a short stay
