My partner and I stayed for two nights in June, booked through Hotels.com. Crescent Place is beautifully designed throughout—modern, calm and thoughtfully put together. We were in Apartment 7, a cosy, stylish and luxurious space. Pros Apartment 7 feels warm and inviting with a layout that makes it easy to unwind. The superking bed was extremely comfortable; even at eight months pregnant I slept well without my pregnancy pillow. The bathroom is huge, bright and finished to a high standard, though the rainfall shower head needs adjusting as it sprays from the top. The fridge with complimentary water and milk was a thoughtful touch. Cons The main issue is noise. Apartment 7 sits directly above Parlar, a café/bar open until midnight with live music on Fridays. It was loud enough that we couldn’t sleep until it ended. The hotel offered Apartment 1, but due to mobility needs we stayed in 7. The bar owner was apologetic and offered complimentary pastries. Guests should be told in advance that music can be heard from around 8pm until close. The front door code briefly stopped working but was quickly reset. The AC unit made an intermittent buzzing even when switched off. The booking process felt convoluted between Hotels.com, the Mansley app and multiple emails, and receiving access details only on the morning of arrival added stress. Overall, Apartment 7 is a beautiful space and despite the issues we would absolutely stay again.

Roy and another young lady were there to check us into the two-level luxury room and very kind and helpful. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. AC kept us cool in a heatwave. Excellent espresso maker and tea kettle. Refrigerator with real milk inside was a nice touch. Centrally located. Everything you could need easily walkable. A very beautiful medieval church and graveyard within a minute’s walk. It’s on a side street so it was quiet, even on the weekend. If we find ourselves in Cheltenham again, we will stay here again. Highly recommended.

Was perfect location. Room was ok size felt very cramped considering the photos looked a lot bigger. We were in room 12 at the top steep stairs to get there. Very noisy with whoever was next to us so didn’t sleep very well NOT hotels fault. Over all was a ok stay.

Amazing location. Great room. Only issue was the milk in the fridge was off. Nice touch of providing teas etc and milk. But please check expiry date next time. Also please add clearer instructions for pre booking the parking space. Thanks

Clean room, great location

Roy the manager went over and above to help us during the check in process. Let us check in early as our room was ready. We were upgraded to a deluxe double room. The room was clean and extremely spacious had floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom and bathroom. So it felt light and airy. Lots of mod cons like a blue tooth radio and Nespresso coffee machine. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate and there was a bottle of milk and two bottles of water in the fridge. Lovely comfy bed and a great waterfall shower. I forgot to reserve parking so phoned the number on the booking and got through straight away to a real person none of this automated stuff. They sorted the parking out for us there and then. Hotel was right in the middle, walking distance from lots of bars, restaurants and cafes. Ideal for our two night break. Would definitely recommend and will definitely stay there again.

Excellent from start to finish, check in was seamless and communication was great. The room was spotless, with everything you could need and more. Location was brilliant, less than a minute walk to restaurants, bars and shopping. Not essential but the parking you can book is cheapest in Cheltenham.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay at Crescent Place. The team member on site was very friendly, chatty, and helpful, which made a real difference to our experience. Our only concern was that our room was noticeably smaller than the one our friends stayed in despite us paying the same price. Our bed was a double and they had a king sized bed. The bathroom in Room 13 (the attic room) was also quite compact. On a positive note, we appreciated the thoughtful touches on arrival, with milk and water provided in the fridge so we could make a hot drink straight away.

It was nice to see a fresh bottle of milk in the fridge and plenty of amenities for making a hot drink. Really nice touch. The room was wonderful, overall. Nice comfortable bed as well. I would say, the room was slightly dusty in some parts and there was, what looked like hole in the bathroom door, that might have been punched in by someone else before I stayed in the room. Perhaps some improvement there would really be helpful. I would most definitely stay here again, I very much enjoyed it.

Clean room with attention to details. Coffee machine was a treat and there was a milk bottle in the fridge sourced from a local farm which is a very nice gesture.

Communication beforehand was excellent with all instructions very clear The apartment and parking were central and easy to access The accommodation was luxurious, clean and well equipped - the bed was amazing. A great stay and the staff we met and liaised with were friendly, smiley and helpful. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.
