Beautiful place well maintained and the staff were excellent will go there again

Staff really fired and helpful. Restaurant is very good with excellent food.

Our ground floor room was lovely and had a little garden that you could sit in and it was quiet. No flannels or box of tissues or glasses for toothbrushes Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice and served at your table. No pastries or croissants though.

This was one of the prettiest places we've ever stayed in. Breakfast was delicious and personalised, wonderfully renovated pub and hotel rooms. Staff were really friendly and great pub to enjoy a drink or eat in. Comfortable, quiet and extremely relaxing with added bonus of bath and sash windows which opened to look out at the front of the property. PERFECT!!

I plan to stay at The Royal Oak again in the near future. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. I had hoped to explore the area, but the rain—and the fact that I had forgotten my coat—made that difficult. On arrival, we were offered a table for the evening, even though the restaurant was popular with locals and quite busy. Dinner was excellent, and I would especially recommend the honey-roast ham. Breakfast also offered a wide selection of high-quality options. I would happily recommend The Royal Oak for both accommodation and dining.

We treated ourselves to a night here and got a really good room rate including an excellent breakfast. The room was comfortable and clean and well equipped. All the staff were super helpful. We also had dinner on arrival and the fixed menu deal was brilliant value. Would definitely come here again.

Does not have a spa. This is listed incorrectly, sadly booked to tie in with a massage but was informed the listing was incorrect. Food, Staff and rooms were great apart form this.

A little overpriced for what it is. Mostly friendly and helpful staff. Basic attention to details is lacking. Needs some serious maintenance and refurb in bedrooms.

Really lovely stay at the Royal Oak. Staff were lovely. Room was great. We also had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious.

I have stayed here a few times for work and have always had a really nice stay. Rooms are spacious but really cosy with lots of nice finishing touches. The food is excellent and all the staff are super friendly.
