Great stay at Maitai Express Tahiti! The staff was excellent, and the room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The location is perfect—close to the ferry pier, rental car agencies, and the local market. Private parking was also available, which made getting around very convenient. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tahiti!!

The hotel was clean and the rooms quite large. The staff was amazing! Tita went above and beyond to assist me. I became very fond of her. The only drawbacks was the ice was on the 3rd floor and my room was in the 4th. The elevator was very small! Only room for two people with luggage, plus it had no air. But overall I had an enjoyable stay. They had cold bottles of water in the frig in Our room that were free. They held your luggage for you. And for travelers who had late flights and had already checked out to tour or whatever they had a shower you could use to freshen up before boarding. Now that is service! I highly recommend this place. I would stay again should I come back to Hawaii.

Very central, easy to walk around Papeete and sightsee. Surprisingly not too noisy given its location.

Loved this hotel. The entire property was spotless, the rooms were clean and very comfortable. The location was great - close to the port, the market and restaurants.

The location is great,in downtown area and walking distance to cruise port. The staff were very helpful. We had a long wait to get into our room. The hotel was overpriced for what we got in my opinion. It was okay for a one night stay.

Very helpful staff. Excellent location. Our flight did not leave until midnight and they accommodated with a late checkout. We would stay here again and recommend the Maitai Express to family and friends. The hotel does not offer breakfast, but there is a good place for breakfast right next to the hotel.

Hôtel stratégiquement situé pour les croisiéristes, à quelques pas du Quai des paquebots, et à proximité du marché municipal, du centre commercial Vaima, de restaurants intéressants, du bureau de postes et de la librairie Odyssey. Chambre impeccable et bien aménagée avec table et chaises, très bon éclairage et excellent lit. Délicieux petit déjeuner-buffet facturé à part, mais choix un peu restreint. Personnel accueillant et extrêmement serviable qui nous a prêté une rallonge électrique ainsi qu'un grand parapluie (très utile!) et nous a permis de ranger nos bagages dans une pièce verrouillée pour quelques heures à la fin de notre séjour.

The room was clean .Sheets were crisp and comfortable. PILLOWS WERE GOOD. Bathroom was a bit small ,location great especially if you are catching the ferry to Bora Bora ,restaurants and the markets plus the food trucks within walking distance.

My stay was better than expected. In other reviews, there were complaints about the room being small but it wasn’t at all. The hotel is nicely updated and very clean. The staff was very accommodating in helping to set up a taxi to the airport. The bar next door was a bit rambunctious late in the night. If you’re light sleeper, good ear plugs would definitely help cancel out the patrons at the bar, which is not the fault of the hotel. Other than that, the location was great.
