Stayed at the Lord Rosebury for one night, as we'd booked late it was one of the few B&B's available due to it being the end of the Uni summer term and parents were clearly making a weekend of picking up their little treasures. That said, the room was clean with a good shower, the in-room breakfast supplied was fine (fruit, yoghurt, cereal etc). A 25 minute trek into the city centre but worth it. Our room was at the front, one tip, don't leave the window open unless you want the smell of cigarette smoke drifting up from the smoker outside the pub. Not as noisy as I expected.

When I booked, it was advertised on Expedia as "bed & breakfast". Upon completion of the booking process that had changed to "includes continental breakfast". However, when we arrived it turned out that our breakfast was a croissant, an individual box of cereal and a yoghurt in a fridge and cupboard in the bedroom! The food was adequate but nowhere near what I had been expecting (or originally been led to believe).

Old pub with accommodation. Superb in-room facilities; lovely bathroom, proper cafetiere and real teapot, champagne flutes, small fridge and continental breakfast in room. Excellent atmosphere in pub with easily the most comprehensive and sophisticated wine and spirit list I think I have seen. I would have given it "5"s across the board if we could have had the option of a hot breakfast but that provided was more than adequate.

The idea of having the breakfast in the room is an excellent idea which enables a lie into be made, we found that very good. The only downside was the poor lighting, my wife suffers armd three bulbs were missing which made it difficult. The pub below has an excellent landlord with excellent meals with a splendid menu to suit all, so it enabled us to have a jolly good meal with a drink to go with it without having to worry about driving

I booked this hotel as it was only a mile away from where I was working and didn't want to be driving through the city at rush hour. I found the room very comfortable and surprisingly quiet being over a pub but this may well have been down to the fact I stayed at the beginning of the week. The breakfast was good & to be honest not being a breakfast eater took it away for my lunch! The only down side is that the pub doesn't serve food at the start of the week so was a bit of a pain having to find somewhere to eat. But if working in the same location again would probably rebook.

Beautiful room, fantastic amount of breakfast and tea and coffee. Excellent shower. Pub downstairs has a brilliant gin menu. Would absolutely stay here again as cheaper, more comfortable and stylish than any chain. A hidden gem.

Lovely stay. Pleasant room with good facilities. Enjoyed the continental hamper breakfast which was very convenient. The Rosebury was also an easy walking distance from the city centre. We would definitely return here.

I booked this for an overnight stay after attending a concert at the Waterfront. We were really pleasantly surprised to find a room accessible to the town, albeit a good 20 minutes walk which we didn't mind but some may. After not having stayed in a "B&B" for some years I was dubious but needn't have worried. The lady who greeted us on arrival in the bar was really friendly and helpful after a query with our price quoted was different. The room was lovely, spotlessly clean, good quality fittings and comfortable bed. I loved the buffet style breakfast which was supplied in two mini wicker baskets ! We wished we had been able to stay for longer as the pub itself looked lovely and would have been nice to try the menu too. We would most definately stay again instead of our usual chain hotel when staying in Norwich.

needed a quick stopover in norwich to rest before moving on. 4 rooms with own parking space. register in the bar, room above a pub, so was quite noisy into the evening but we didnt mind this as walked into Norwich for a few drinks which is about a 1/2 hour walk and came back about 11pm, room was clean, enjoyed the buffet breakfast which was in the cupboard near the fridge.shower was good, bed had a footboard which was a bit of a pain for me as i am over 6 foot and normally dangle my legs over the bed.windows rattled a bit with the wind but wedged with a bit of paper to sort it in all a cheap adequate stay with no frills
