As a beer drinker as opposed to lager it was refreshing to have a choice of two good, local brews! Negative was no tomato juice at the bar.

Very clean, modern and comfortable bed. Great to have restaurant on site. Easy parking. Friendly reception. It’s a little out of centre city Barnsley, so you’d need a car, but as we had one this wasn’t an isse

Great check in, Room was spacious. Bed was comfy and nice shower. Food in the bar wasnt the chespest but quality and quantity was great.

Cleaning of bathroom not good. Only one member of staff to check people in, we were 8th in queue and the key card system failed and we couldn’t get in our room.

We have stayed at this hotel previously and was dissapointed but we had heard it it had been refurbished so thought we would try again was pleasantly surprised it was clean and comfortable

Hotel is very clean, food really fresh and lovely, all the staff were really friendly and attentive.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Good location and excellent value. Would definitely recommend.
