This is just one of the coolest, well designed and remodeled properties, I've encountered. The rooms are awesome - the interior of the building is tremendous and the staff is so very lovely. Yes, it's across the bridge, but still only 12-15 minutes from Central station. I will 100% stay here again.

The staff that I encountered at the desk and bar were wonderful. The location was nice. However whoever owns the property needs to address maintenance, cleaning and the issue of an overpowering signature scent that is used in the property. I’m not a picky traveler or especially sensitive to smells but had to open the window to get fresh air. If the windows weren’t operable I would have had to move to another hotel.

I was staying in Lidingo again - just one night. The Foresta hotel is perfectly located. Don't let the 1960s facade outside put you off - they have done the inside up very well. Terrace bar outside is pleasant with decent weather, with loads of seating inside when not. The 6th floor restaurant is excellent. Be sure to use that - and take in the view of Stockholm. Not much parking at the hotel, though. Check-in is at the bar through the entrance. Nice staff. The new spa opens soon, apparently. Recommended.

I was in Stockholm in business trip. Short stay at Villa Foresta. The outside of the hotel looks dated, but do not let that put you off. It’s had a wonderful refurb on the inside. Check in is at the lobby bar. Drinks out on the terrace on a nice day, or inside st sample chairs & tables. A nice comfortable room to sleep in. An excellent restaurant and service up on 6th floor. Really good food. Breakfast is the usual spread on the ground floor, in restaurant at back bar. No negatives. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for two nights while visiting family in the area. The location is convenient as it is close to shops and easy transportation to the city centre. The property is beautifully decorated—room was comfortable and quiet and the view over the Lidingö bridge and the inlet was fantastic. Staff were friendly and accommodating when I requested a late checkout. Breakfast was very nice and had everything needed. Highly recommend this excellent hotel— will definitely be back again.

Great hotel overlooking water. We stayed on Lidingo but am sure you could stay here and ‘do’ Stockholm. Friendly staff, distinctive decor and great views. Breakfast good too

On a Saturday the restaurant was supposed to be open. It was not and empty and deserted. Shower way too small

Trevligt hotel som jag bott många gånger på, denna gången var det några missar på städningen.

Trevligt hotell med mysig atmosfär och annorlunda rustik prägel. Vårt rum låg precis ovanför utebaren med musik och det hade varit bra att veta när vi bokade. Frukosten var bra men inte så stort utbud. Personalen i foajen var förvånansvärt ointresserade när vi kom och gick på dagarna. De tittade djupt i sina datorer eller på varandra.

Jättefint hotell om man vill bo på Lidingö! Trevlig personal, god frukost med äkta amerikanska pannkakor, prosecco som välkomstdrink! Toppen, jag kommer bo där framöver när jag är på Lidingö!
