We had a nice stay at the property. We were a little disappointed that we were given a room with 2 twin beds, after requesting 1 double bed. The rest of the room was great. Very spacious. The location was fantastic! Easily walkable to everywhere we wanted to go. Restaurants, sights, etc. Merida is a special place with special, friendly people! We loved our visit. One other small annoyance, parking next door was supposed to be discounted to 10€ a day. We had our ticket stamped, as instructed, but we were charged full price. We left early, so there was no one in reception to talk to.

The apartment is full of cheap and badly assembled furniture. Poorly maintained, lights blown curtains not working, shower broken. The wifi is so bad as to be unusable.

The apartments are very nice. The big downside was the street works being carried out directly in front of the entrance. A map showing the best way to approach on foot would have been very useful. Also lots of noise in the morning from cement mixers etc.

A great spot virtually at the Metro stop (Gran Plaza)...only one line in Seville. Room small but comfortable with great beds for a comfortable sleep....no back pain in the morning here.

I was surprised as just how nice Capitolio Apartamentos Turisticos was. Located in the old city of Merida and adjacent to convenient and secure pay parking, the apartment was reasonably spacious with a well-equipped kitchen. It would have been great for a longer stay. The staff was very helpful despite limited English. The location was very convenient, putting one in the middle of the old city very quickly and with good dining options right around the corner on the pedestrian walkways. Merida itself is a very walkable city with the main sights not far. The Roman museum, anfitheatro and theatre were right next to each other, while the hippodrome, fort, and aqueducts were a bit further but easily walkable. I enjoyed my brief stay there and would look forward to staying at Capitolio again.

Desk staff very welcoming, clean and modern. Rooms are themed, we got a tidy, comfortable and relaxing studio, full kitchen and washer/dryer, bathroom a little tired but clean. Close to a supermarket and bar/ restaurant, walking distance to attractions. Spain is quiet in the afternoon, comes alive at night. Discounted public parking right next door arranged through the apartment. Overall very good. Only draw back was thin walls could hear neighbouring tv all night

We just stayed one night for a little get away. The Hotel was modern and very clean (except a bit dusty under the beds, which my kids managed to find). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and it was a delighful stay. Really well located in the centre of everything. The hotel is tiny and that is relfected in the rooms but is modern and well layed out and has everything you need.

My room was every bit as nice as the regular 3* hotels I stayed at during my trip. The Apts. are within walking distance of many of the tourist attractions you probably want to see. The parking garage is next door and easily accessed. I recommend these apts. to the budget conscious traveler, or anyone wishing to stay within walking distance of the museums and ruins.

Apartment was stunning and everything modern and you the only thing which lets it down was that noise from surrounding area - it was a very busy spot and I think it is fair to take earplugs to block out the noise if you want lots of peace and quiet.

The hotel is very good and it s located in a central area where you do not need a car. You can do everything by walking. Once you do not need car, you have to pay 10 EU / day. They do not have breakfast, but they indicate a very good place. I would returned.

My wife, 6 year old son, 2 year old daughter and I had a lovely stay at the Capitolio Apartments. The apartment was large, well put together and the service was great. We would highly recommend the Capitolio to anybody who visits Merida going forward.

It's a nice place; definitely clean, with very friendly staff, spacious rooms, a nice shower and a kitchen that is very well designed, to make the most of that space and is exceptionally well-equipped for a hotel kitchen. There is also a washing machine/tumble dryer, which is doing the job if you need to do some laundry. The bed is most comfortable and the Internet working just fine. There is a large flatscreen TV and the room too, but it's of little use if you don't speak Spanish. This hotel couldn't be located more conveniently for exploring the Roman sites in this area. You can park the car for €10 a day next door in the Parkhouse and just leave it there for a couple of days, as you wander around the streets of Merida joining into the local's pace. None of it has quite the grandeur of Roman sites in France, but nevertheless it's a nice area to while away a couple of days exploring at a leisurely pace and enjoying some tapas, especially the local ham.
