The ocean view room was lovely, albeit some of the furniture is pretty dated. Cleaning staff were super friendly, which made up for the cold reception from the front desk staff. The breakfast offering is pretty terrible so we went to local cafés instead.

it is a great place to stay in Sidney. It is centrally located with a ton within walking distance...the beach, the Pier, the Aquarium, the Distillery, shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, thriftstores, etc.

Great location - close to airport and ferries - staff very accomodating.

Clean rooms. Like, crisp white sheets clean. Everything was spotless. Rooms are dated but improvements have been made. It’s an older building so this is normal. The breakfast was excellent - waffles, three styles of egg, muffins, yogurt, fresh fruit, … just an amazing surprise! Excellent location, right on the water. Grocery store across the street, everything is steps away. Attached restaurant was also fabulous: food, service, atmosphere. We would stay here again.

Breakfast was okay except the coffee which wasn’t great.

Beautiful location, easy and quick access to the airport. Staff were very helpful upon check-in when we needed assistance in reserving a taxi for the morning.

Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The hotel is centrally located and right on the ocean. Great place to stay.

Internet was fast. Business facilities not needed.

Room in the Cannery was clean and spacious. Lovely balcony with partial view. Although nothing the hotel can do about it but it is directly under the Victoria Airport flight path so planes flying over at 5 am were annoying. Breakfast was disappointing.

The breakfasts were very limited. We only ate one time. Only two tables to sit at. A small room and not too inviting. Going offsite at a local cafe was a better option. Staff was friendly and accommodations were comfortable.

Could use a bit of updating but was very clean and nice to have a free breakfast.
