Overall, our stay was very pleasant here. The only major concern we had was the day we arrived, the entire unit seemed to be cleaned with bleach, to the point that it was unbreathable for both of us. Outside of that concern, the units were clean, the bathrooms were clean, and almost all the other people staying on our floor were respectable about the times for quiet. There were enough amenities around the hotel for food, variety stores, and transportation (scooters, bikes, Uber, etc.). It was an enjoyable stay.

The floor boards creaked a lot in my room and the washroom was very cramped but despite that my stay here was very comfortable. The view was amazing, communication with staff was lovely, I asked for an early check in and they got me in 3 hrs earlier which I really appreciate. Room was spacious. Metro was right across the street and several cafes and restaurants were within walking distance. I would recommend this place and give here again myself <3

first of all, this is a hostel. Not a hotel. I got to the property and realized that there are shared bathrooms and a kitchen. I had my soap and toothbrush thrown in the trash my second night there. The walls are extremely thin. There was a girl/lady literally screaming at the top of her lungs practicing her singing for FOUR hours one day and I had to leave my room just to get some work done. To add to this, I received an email my 2nd to last day there saying that check out time was 11 AM. And if you stayed longer, every hour would be a 17 euro charge until 5 PM. I messaged the host on the morning of my second to last day there letting them know I wanted to stay longer than check out time. I received no response. Fast forward to my last morning there, I woke up very late to someone banging on my door letting me know I had to leave right away. I tried explaining that the email said I could stay as long as I was willing to pay the extra 17 euro an hour. This man was very aggressive and basically forced me to rush and pack my things while I was half awake and leave. I even offered to give him 20 euros for the extra hour I stayed and he denied it and told me to get out. Horrible Communication and Customer Service. Literally the only good thing about this place was the balcony view and even that was mediocre and nothing like the pictures shown in the listing. Do not stay here.

This place cares about their guests. I had a minor issue and Andre took the time to write to me and have a partner fix it. Across the street from Parque metro station. The french doors in room 1,2, and 3 (facing the street) totally cut the noise.

This is a guest-house: a place with individual bedrooms for different guests, and common areas including kitchen, dining room, and lounge, and shared bathrooms for women and for men. The host(s) were wonderful about communicating in advance: I really appreciate that. It was also really wonderful how close this property is to the Parque Metro station: just across the street and a few steps. The room itself was beautiful: clean, comfortable, and attractive. I especially enjoyed being able to open the window and step onto the balcony for some fresh air. Also: the common areas and bathrooms were very clean and enjoyable. The kitchen was very functional and supplied with tools and containers. Future guests should be aware: this building has many floors and only one floor seem to belong to the guest-house. It can be easy to mistake the floor and to enter a door in error that does not belong to the guest house, as I did. There are building materials and renovations happening on some of the other floors. The lift was not functioning when I arrived, although I did see it working later. It would be best if any guests staying here are able to climb 3 or 4 flights of stairs, in case the lift doesn't always arrive for them. The front door of the building itself was not closed completely when I arrived: someone had neglected to fully close it enough to lock. Other than these things I mentioned, it truly was a comfortable stay.

First off there is only one toilet for M and one toilet for females. The other two are showers. So that’s misleading. Other than that the room is fine and the location is good.

Located in the most sought after neighborhood of Lisbon, practically walk to most points of interest, footsteps from Parque Metro, highly enjoyable stay in clean, well kept and secure multi room guesthouse. Shared bathrooms and WC were not a problem at all. We enjoyed the full kitchen with dishwashing and laundry machine for free. We also enjoyed having breakfast at the sunroom over looking the neighborhood. Perfect Pied-A-Terre for the sojourning Lisboa traveler.

Don't be put off by X4lovers advertising of their accommodation. 56. Is not the big building in the photo. It appears to be just the 4th floor in an old apartments block oppsite the Metro station. Which is brilliant. The main front is just push to open. Then there is one of those 1920s cage lifts to take you up to the 4th floor. It looks a bit funky, but it works, and its better than climbing the stairs. Once there, enter your key code into the door marked X4lovers. Inside the hallway you will be pleasantly surprised. Clean, modern styling there is even free sweets. There is a big male only bathroom with 3 shower cubicles and then another seprate male only WC . The same is repeated for females. With only 8 room. The shared bathrooms is not a problem, and they are spotlessly clean. Court Engles is 5 minute's up the road and the metro from there takes you straight to the airport. Red line. The metro opposite the accommodation is Blue line, and will take you straight into town. All in all. Thumps up from me. Great value for money accommodation in a Convient location.

Great location. Not right in the tourist area, but close, which was perfect. Easy access to busses and subway. We would stay here again. There are several little local cafes for breakfast very close to the property, which was really convenient and delicious. Thanks!

A friend and I stayed 7 days at this guest house. There were many excellent things about this place. First, it is super clean - everything is sanitized and cleaned daily. Second, the sitting area and solarium (it's what I call it) is very cute and cozy. Third, the rooms are charming and the mattress very comfortable. Each room has its own air conditioner for your convenience. Fourth, the neighbourhood is very safe with Parque metro station right across from the guest house - very convenient. It's very close enough to the heart of downtown but with enough distance from city noise. Last, but not least, the staff are wonderful. There is staff there every late morning if you have any issues and communication is very easy via text is very easy when they are not there. Andrew, Gabriel (super cute) and Gabriel's coworker are really good hosts who will do whatever they can to meet their guests needs. I (we) can say that you really feel like a guest here. I (we) really recommend this place. Thanks Andrew and staff. Some things that could use some improvement: Some sort of non-slip matting on the floors of the shower rooms....they are extremely slippery when they become wet. Bathroom sinks need hot water....I was forced to wash my face in the kitchen sink. Keys to bedroom doors need to be modernized. The antique keys are quite difficult to use. Also provide two keys to the rooms. Provide signage in the kitchen for directions on how to reset the breakers if they flip.

Small room one bed 2 small tables and one chair no place to put anything, have to share outside shower & toilet with so many others. Horrible old elevator no AC. Very disappointed Don’t recommend these apartments to anyone. The main entrance door was wide open, no security. I run out of the place with my wife and found a very nice hotel not far away.
