Staff was super friendly, and helpful. Place is dated. Needs an upgrade.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating by changing one of our rooms to lower level. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable.

We always book in to the Leisure Inn when travelling to the Temiskaming Shores area. They changed ownership recently, and the new management is absolutely excellent. We weren't disappointed at our last stay. As always the rooms, entry and main lobby and eating area, are clean, welcoming, and a pleasure to spend time in. The owner is such a nice and engaging person, we had wonderful talks together. Also, I guess because we were tired from our long day, we had difficulty figuring out how to use the TV remotes so asked for assistance. When he came to our room, he took his shoes off BEFORE, coming into the room. That speaks to his commitment to cleanliness - and - his respect for his lodgers. We will certainly be returning to the Leisure Inn.

Let me start by saying that Alan, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming, and the room itself was very clean. However, the cleaner used on the tile left a very strong smell that irritated my eyes if I stayed in the room too long. I ended up getting a candle to help cut the smell, which did improve things. The motel itself is quite dated. The beds were older but still comfortable, and the rooms only offer single and twin beds. I was glad to have both a fridge and microwave in the room. The bathroom was very small, but again, very clean. The location is convenient, right in downtown Haileybury, just up the street from the beach and waterfront, with the LCBO directly across the street.

Nice and very pleasant

I had read some very poor reviews of the owner and property so was a little worried. What a pleasant surprise. The owner was very nice and had some great ideas for our stay. He always tried to assist and was pleasant at all times. We had some great conversations. Not sure what people were complaining about. Great stay

There is no one at the motel after 7 pm. You have to call ni.ber to gdt the code for the lock box which has your key and wifi instructions. I had to call at least 5 times to get someone to call me. The rooms are dated and "tired". I had a problem with the TV, but a technician came and fixed it. I didn't eat the provided breakfast because it was heavily carb based and no fruit, but there was yogourt. Coffee ends at 9am, when breakfast ends. All the bedding eeds to be replaced but the i slept ok and it was nice and warm. AND NO BEDBUGS!!! So overall, adequate.

Way to pricey for it's standard

This was my first time staying at this hotel. The riom was very spacious! Clean and comfortable and rather cozy. I was staying with my pet and we both had excellent sleep!

Great area, lakeside walkable distance clean rooms but, breakfast was a semi breakfast not a full breakfast they don't offer eggs or pancakes, or any kind of sausage,it needs to be improved.

Das Zimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Es war soweit aber sauber. Beim Frühstück wäre etwas Fleisch und Käse angenehm, ebenso ein Fruchtsaft wünschenswert. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bemühend.
