Our room was up several sets of stairs, but as a result had a magnificent view of the port. Since the room was in the roof cavity it had low oak beams and the internal stairs were a potential risk when going to the bathroom at night, but it was lovely to be in a property with such character.

Lovely comfortable room, modern bathroom, great breakfast and friendly staff. Fantastic location in central Port Isaac. Only negative was noise from other rooms / doors shutting etc as it is an old building

Earlier than expected check-in which for walkers was an excellent bonus! Staff v helpful Meal was excellent Position in village was picturesque

We were on the top floor which has low ceilings. Warnings are well marked so it wasn't a problem. We loved the room and the views. Breakfast was very good.

Great location for the SWCP. Room clean and well equipped. No aircon but still cool. Friendly team.

Lovely stay in this hotel…no kettle in room…no comfortable seating areas. Staff very attentive. Lovely food.

Location on front good , breakfast good but checkout time 10am is far too early . Wifi is poor and area generally has poor mobile phone signal so you really are getting away from it ! we had dinner there one night , good , but expensive !

The check in was easy, they even stored my suitcase for a few hours when I arrived early. The room was so very nice with a great view of the harbour. The dinner and breakfast I had at the restaurant were delicious. Best location in town. Beautiful place to visit.

The staff were great, especially Rachel. Food very good

The staff here were exceptional. Lots to do in this area. The Slipway is a cool place to stay.

Ben, was extremely understanding that due to the jet fuel situation in the UK, we had to cut our trip short and he was not able to move us to a different day. Outside of expedia's commission he offered to refund a portion of the stay since we couldn't be there that night. Just waiting on Expedia to update it in my account

Parking is not available at the hotel, and we did not drive, we were dropped off via taxi at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable with all the usual amenities. Staff were extremely helpful, food was good and fresh. Nice outdoor seating/eating area, also a cozy sitting area to enjoy a glass of wine. Would definitely book here again.

From start to finish we had a great stay at the Slipway. Room 11 is wonderfully quirky with a lovely outlook over the port. Spotlessly clean and tidy, we couldn’t fault anything and all the staff were brilliant so well done to all! We intend staying again soon. Parking is a 10 minute walk but not a long way to go and £11 a day or £29 a week

Everything was perfect

Went for a relaxing break in Port Isaac and stayed here in room 5 which had a lovely view of the slipway. Room not very spacious and with only one chair which meant one of us had to sit on the bed but not too much of a problem. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The toilet was practically touching the ensuite door so a visit in the dark in the middle of the night left me with a head injury when I closed the door and went to sit down! I think they heard the bang it made in Newquay. This is a very old pub with lots of original quirky features so if flat walls and modern surroundings is normally your thing this may not be for you. Food from the menu ok, very little choice which would make me choose somewhere else to eat if we went back. I also received the wrong order which had to go back but the breakfast was great!. Tip - Park your car in the carpark on New Road if you can. The walk to the slipway is down a coastal path and will take you around 8 mins on foot. It gives you the option of one or two days and then jumps to a week. If you are staying more than 2 Nights choose the week as it's only a little more than the price of 2 days and cheaper than updating as you go!
