A very warm welcome by Elida, one of the receptionists, made us feel immediately comfortable at Okupa. Everything was as we expected - clean, comfortable, quiet. The DJ music on the Saturday night was relatively quiet background music in the main bar area, rather than filling the hotel, and we didn't hear it in our bedroom. The rooftop pool was a highlight!

Comfortable, centric, friendly staff

Family of 4. Private room with 2 bunk beds (4 beds) fans private bathroom. Clean. Safe. Pool up stairs. A/c controlled I in room. Upscale backpacker hotel. We easily walked from hotel to all meals and acropolis. You do walk past some lesser developed parks but otherwise great!

Lovely view from the rooftop pool!!! Staff were super friendly and the shared bedroom was private and modern.

The hostal well served travelers on a budget. Several choices of shared rooms. Private bathroom in some rooms and even a balcony. Staff are very helpful welcoming residents. I was impressed by the spaciousness, and usefulness in all common areas (library, reading room, computer cubicles, TV breakfast room, kitchen and rooftop pool) and luggage storage room. The building is quite new. The location is close to public buses to Athens attractions. And a 10 minute walk to Manastraki street (major tourist area) open markets, bars/cafes, restaurants, and brand names stores. Metro lines close by. A vert comfortable stay. I would choose this hostal again.

Quick and clean two night stay!

We stayed at the penthouse and absolutely loved it. The projector was a nice touch but it didn’t work the last day. I’d stay again.

We loved our stay at Okupa! The roof pool is definitely a highlight, and it was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do. Receptionists were all super friendly and had great restaurant and bar recommendations. We look forward to coming back!

Great hotel convenient access to all major attractions in Athens.

Everything about this shared space is fabulous The staff compliment it and to be honest I am reluctant to tell everybody how soul feeding this place is The breakfast has an impressive array of goodness to start your day and I recommend the menu also I am planning on a return visit in October Did I mention that public transport is very close also

Love the vibe of the hotel

Nice, clean, modern hotel. Great spaces for co-working and relaxing. Good location within a 10-25 minute walk of most sights and areas of interest. Breakfast was lacklustre but lots of better options nearby.

Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Hotel/hostel itself is brand new with modern, extemely clean facilities. Beautiful garden, on-site bar and restaurant. Rooftop terrace and pool not open yet during my stay but they said will be open for the summer - June maybe ? I stayed in a room for 4 women with ensuite bathroom (toilet and huge shower- very clean with shampoo and shower gel and hairdryer). Each bunk bed equipped with light and charging port and privacy curtains. Plenty of storage under bed and also have lockers locked with a code specifically for you. Outside of your room they also have extra showers and toilets- one side for women and another side for men. They have a mezzanine area with a library/work station, a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, kettle, stove to cook. (Label your food) With tables and chairs. Only have good things to say with Okupa. 11 minutes walk to monistiraki metro station and monistiraki square but also have bus stops close by. THANKS OKUPA staff!
