The room was very cute.

We stayed in the hotel twice, with a brief trip to Safari in between (the hotel was happy to hold one bad in between which was much appreciated). It's a very well located hotel, so close to some fantastic bars, coffee shops and restaurants (Rosetta Roastery, Nikkei & Clarkes particular local highlights for us). The rooftop bar and pool is a lovely spot to watch the sun go down. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and we would happily return.

We absolutely loved our time at the Trade. The rooms were adorable and fully equipped with everything you could ever need. The staff were lovely and accommodating and the area was so lively and vibrant. The street gets a bit loud as there are a few bars across the street so definitely be prepared; bring ear plugs and ask for a quieter room on weekends if you’re a light sleeper. All in all 10/10. We wish we had a Trade in our city!

We really enjoyed our stay, the staff were very friendly & helpful. The rooms were like an apart hotel. Service and food in the restaurant were good. The roof top was lovely but windy.

Not sure why no other review has mentioned this--the hotel faces a bar that has an outdoor patio and features live music from 8pm to 2am seven days a week. The noise level is unbearable.

I would happily recommend The Trade Boutique and shall certainly stay there again. All of the staff could not have been more helpful and always really cheerful and welcoming. It was a lovely stay.

Affordable, area is good and safe

Staff were great. Everything was top. A little too quiet for my liking, but it was very nice. Pool deck was enjoyable when it wasn’t windy. I would recommend a hot tub instead of a pool. The pool is a hot tub size and was chilly.

I would definitely stay here again if I was in Cape Town. The location is very good for restaurants and bars. The hotel was also clean and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast selection and restaurant attached to the hotel was also good!

stay was great except that the noise from the street can disturb esp on Friday and Saturday nights. otherwise location and security was great

Minha experiência com The Trade Boutique Hotel foi incrível, desde a chegada, com uma recepção amigável e um ótimo upgrade na minha reserva, até a saída, com todo o suporte dos funcionários. O quarto é lindo, confortável e super limpo, com diversas utilidades na cozinha. Os produtos de higiene são maravilhosos e o serviço de quarto é de qualidade. O hotel está localizado em uma região de fácil acesso a tudo. Gostei bastante.

Incrível!! Atendimento excelente, quarto é excelente, roupa de cama e banho muito macias e cheirosas, travesseiros muito confortáveis, amenities super cheirosos, utensílios de cozinha muito bons e um Secador de cabelo maravilhoso. Hele fijne buurt met alle lekkere restaurants om de hoek op Breestreet. Hotel ziet er mooi uit en kamers waren keurig met water in de koelkast bij aankomst. Gehorigheid is wel een ding. Veel lawaai tot een uur of 2/3 in de ochtend (zelfs op de 6e verdieping) vanaf de Shortmarket Street waar een club en bar zit. Maar als je daar geen last van hebt, een geweldig hotel om te verblijven. Ik zou weer terug gaan!
