Wi-Fi not 100mbps as stated-not designed for 3 floors of users behind many doors & walls even with a small device called a Repeater in the wall. We tried to solve the problem & a technician came but it never got corrected. I got 5MBPS on phone & laptop & I work on line. When it was a busy time I couldn't even open email or a video some days. I believe the router needed replacing & he just didn't correct it for 18 days & it's one of the main reasons I moved there & wasn't able to move anywhere else after. Johnny the owner is very nice & accommodating but it's not managed well by his mother & the very rude housekeeper. The outside kitchen was extremely dirty, EVERYTHING, the pans are ancient, there is often no lighter for the stove because they won't keep a large one there & only cigarette lighters which people steal. Guests don't even wash their dishes & pans but staff don't check it daily & fill the soap & empty the trash. Sink full of crap for 4 days but no one attended to it. Cutting board, sponge, refrigerator are repulsive! Same with piles of trash overflowing by the entrance constantly because it's not emptied enough. Group bathrooms not clean for 4 days until I called repeatedly, with tiny cans of trash full of toilet paper & no soap. All the rooms & buildings are different & mine was comfortable & fairly clean & I maintained it myself. It could be such a nicer environment with a 9 star rating if more care was put into it, especially the shared kitchen & bathrooms.

When we booked the room, there were long instructions thay said "There is no front desk at this property. Prior to arrival, guests must complete online registration with the property via a secure link. Guests will be asked to provide the property with a copy of their government-issued photo ID before arrival. Guests will receive an email within 48 hours before arrival with check-in instructions." However, we never received an email, so it was very difficult to find the exact location. We called the number provided, and the man who answered was very helpful. Also, it turned out that no such pre-registration was required. Once we got there, the staff was friendly and the accommodations simple but nice, just what we needed. There was a communal kitchen, but we had our own bathroom and mini fridge. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Also, we were able to securly park our car right there. Awesome!

The Vila is a good start for a budget rental. Individual small apartments are clean and beds are comfortable. Outdoor kitchen is deplorable with one working burner for cooking. No oven or microwave. Walk to the beach area is 20 minutes.
