Dar Almajula is one of the best hotels I have ever visit! The whole property, garden, pool and rooms are very clean and so beautifully decorated, it is very peaceful. If you are looking for a breather from the hustle and bustle, let this be your choice! Located just a few kilometres from Essaouira, Laurence and Alain have thoughtfully created just that, with lovely accomodation leading out onto a heated pool next to a welcoming restaurant. What makes this place extra special is the personal service by the owners and their chef, Mehdi, who prepared us delicious three course dinners in the evening at a very reasonable price. We felt totally spoilt and didn't want to leave.

All at very reasonable prices. The Dar (house) is situated outside Essaouira but I would recommend the Dar to anyone with or without a car. One can get a taxi and is in 15min in Essaouira.
