A great new dorm! Much nicer than my dormsThe rooms are super spacious. A ton of people hung out here during the World Cup, and while the atmosphere was really fun and energetic, it never felt like an overwhelming party. Having ping pong and billiards around is awesome, too. Right in the middle of everything Toronto has to offer.

Super convenient, affordable location! A great deal for staying right downtown. The good: Big rooms, nice building. Right by both the PATH and a streetcar,so super convenient to get down to tourist attractions. Easy to get adjoining rooms if you're traveling with kids. Neutral: Remember that it's a dorm, so there aren't some of the amenities you might be used to in a hotel: no TV, fridge, or coffeemaker in the rooms. There are cooking and TV lounges available on other floors. Also parking in the neighborhood is a bit inconvenient/expensive. The bad: Absolutely the worst designed bathrooms I've ever experienced. Tiny shower stall with no shelves to put anything, towel hooks are a mile away, sink is weirdly set up so everything rolls into it. I would be so mad if I were a student who had to put up with it for a whole year! I would definitely not recommend that anyone with accessibility needs stay here, bc of the bathrooms. Overall this was a great place to stay with kids and I'm so glad I found it! If you know what you're getting into it can be a great homebase while you explore Toronto.

The staff was very cordial, especially as we arrived three hours earlier than intended. They helped us through the check in process very patiently, as the WiFi was difficult for one of our travelers to access. They also allowed us to keep luggage in a side room as we went to breakfast in our last day and checked out. It is centrally located, near the metro and street cars. Would do it again in a heartbeat!

Very basic accommodations. Stayed 1 night and it was sufficient. Close to many amenities and transportation.

Good property - as described. A little pricey for a dorm room.

Great location and everything was nice and clean. This is a college dorm but for 1 or 2 nights it was perfect.

Very good location, clean and comfortable. Felt like staying in an apartment versus hotel. Would stay here again.

In a good area for exploring. Doesn’t have Air conditioning in the unit but vents do make the room cool, we did wish we could control the temperature to make it a little bit cooler. Right beside a street car stop and a nice walk to kensington market.

I would stay here again! The room was basic but they provided toiletries (towels, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, lotion). There's not really any housekeeping so I hung my towels up on the shower bar and hooks for the second day-- and on the evening of day 2 I asked at reception for fresh towels (and used those for the next 2 days til I left). It works, especially if you don't want to pay double/triple their nightly rate. Also had to go down to ask for another toilet paper roll, etc, but if you see you're getting low just plan ahead to ask, they never said no to me for anything. There's no coffee maker in the room and the 7/11 around the corner will be closing at the end of June 2026, so you've got a Tim Hortons or other cafes if you need coffee/tea in the morning. This was a prime location for me and the lack of coffee maker (in the standard room) was the only real downside for me, so I will be bringing a pour-over drip cone next time and microwave the water in the common room (not fancy, but I'm a zombie until cup #2). Especially for tourists I would have loved to have a fridge in the room, even a tiny one, even if I'd had to pay an extra deposit for it and it be brought to the room after I checked in. That would have been very useful for us especially coming in from out of town It's within 1 block of Spadina station & across the street from tram 510 so that's handy for out of town travellers. No one was loud in the halls and the reception staff were super nice!

J'ai été agréablement surprise tant par l'endroit, moderne et super propre, que la vue de la chambre. J'ai aimé découvrir les environs à distance de marche (Marché Kensington) et l'université de Toronto, et les parcs. Bon choix pour nous !
