This is the most depressing place I have ever rented. Due to flight delays, my wife, my son, and I didn't check in until 2:00 a.m. Unfortunately, the property was so disappointing that we checked out just five hours later, at 7:00 a.m. As I mentioned, this place was worse than a prison. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Overall it was alright. The staff were great. However there's no air conditioning which was hard to handle in the heat. My son and I didn't stay for our third night as it was just too hot. The hotel was very understanding and gave a refund for the last night. I feel younger people wanting to have a girl's night or a bachelor or Bachelorette party would love it here as it does have a pub, a restaurant, a Latin dance club and a cold beer and wine store.

Not much to say.

The pros : free parking, low rates for Vancouver area. Clean bed and room. Cons : rooms with shared toilet and shower. Shower is a bit sletchy. No AC in my room, which was what I paid for and I regretted it. No screens on the windows, so a tiny few flies got in. No electrical outlet next to bed, but close enough that I could plug my cpap machine. Cigarette smell in the corridor. Bed rolls wasn't locked.

The photos and description were very misleading compared to what we found when we arrived. The check-in desk was located inside a party store, behind bullet-resistant glass with bars on the windows, which immediately made us uncomfortable. Our "Deluxe" room was much smaller than expected (roughly 12' × 12'). There was no air conditioning, and foam earplugs were provided because of the thin walls, nearby construction, and road noise. There were no first-floor rooms and no elevator. Upon check in, we were told that the lobby closes at 11:00 p.m. and were given a key to let ourselves back into the unmanned building after hours, which did not add to our sense of security. The surrounding area also made us feel uneasy, with several nearby businesses protected by barbed-wire fencing. Based on our impressions of the property and the neighborhood, we decided not to stay. When we contacted the manager to explain our concerns and ask whether a partial refund was possible, we found the interaction to be very unprofessional. In our experience, the manager was rude, raised her voice, interrupted us before we could fully explain our concerns, denied any refund, and ultimately hung up on us. Based on our experience, we would not book here again. We also would not recommend this property for families, women traveling alone, or anyone with mobility limitations.

Peaceful

The rooms in this hotel are located directly above a pub, and the loud music continues until around 2:30 am. It’s almost impossible to sleep before that time. There is no air conditioning and no proper ventilation, which makes the stay even more uncomfortable. Overall, this place is not suitable for anyone looking for rest or a quiet night.

Would 100% come back here again, the staff was very friendly

Just to far to Downtown

People who work there are very nice : ) Limited snack choices in the convenience store, bring your own drinks if you don't like beer or liquids.

This place is disgusting and run down. $200+ USD per night for what? A closet sized room that’s hot and stuffy, has no available plug ins so you have to decide whether to charge your phone, use the $5 Walmart fan they provide, watch tv, or use the fridge. You don’t dare try to do all at once. We had to fix the shower head as it’s crusted and falling off. The whole place wreaks of cigarettes. It’s on top of a Mexican night club so the whole building is loud and shaking all night. This is a dollar store version of a hotel. BEWARE booking as you have to pay a massive upgrade fee if you don’t want to share bathroom with the entire building.

It was a pub, Friday night karaoke went until 0200.

It was a good stay for the price especially. The room, sheets, and towels were all clean. The gall that greeted us when we came in is very nice, in fact everyone that we interacted with is friendly. We just stayed a Saturday night...there was a club there with music but it wasn't too loud and I like that music; my partner can sleep through anything so overall it didn’t bother us at all. The only issue was that i didnt notice when I booked it was a room with a shared bathroom. The bathrooms were clean but there's only two bathrooms that we had access to, one for men and one for women, for the whole floor. The Men's shower was occupied from 6:30 thru 9:30 am so we had to leave without him showering.

Not a family hotel

The night from hell. There was techno music all night long right under my room, so loud my teeth were vibrating all night. I slept for exactly 1 hour. I found out when I got there that the washroom was down the hall, not in the room. It was hot and stuffy but no A/C and no screens on the windows to keep flys out. The curtains were thin and there is a used car lot across the street so the room was bright as day all night. There was one working electrical outlet. I’ve stayed at hostels in developing counties that were far nicer. Basically it was a noisy, hot, rotting hellhole. The sheets seemed clean however so that was a plus. I would NEVER return, even if it was free and I was desperate.

Bad

It’s good for someplace to lay your head for the night. Nothing fancy. The liquor store cashier and the hotel check-in are the same place :D I wondered about the ear plugs in the room until the dive bar below played music until 2 a.m. Sounded like everyone was having a great time. I can sleep through a hurricane so it was fine. The two guys who worked at the bar were extremely polite and welcoming. Do visit whenever you’re in the area!

Nothing fancy, gets the job done. You have a nice clean room to relax. It was a bit noisy due to the lounge downstairs, but overall, I enjoyed my stay.

It's better for single travelers.

They can do better when it comes to keeping the room clean.
