Great location near State Theatre and parking stations. Lovely bar and dining at Arches.

The hotels front desk staff need more training. They put us in room 1723, right next door they were doing emergency plumbing repairs. We had angle grinding, drilling and jack hammering. We asked the front desk how long the repairs would take and they said ten minutes. One hour later they were still going, rang front desk, they said sorry , it will just be another 10minutes. After 3 hours we asked to change rooms. We had to ask, they didn’t offer at any stage. The air conditioner was also broken, it was stuck on sixteen degrees. If you’re going to call yourself a five star hotel, your staff need much better training.

Perfect if you’re wanting to shop on Pitt street or see a show at the state Theater. Rooms were spacious. Two cons, I wish the mini bar was full with things to buy, and the lifts take so long.

A great place to stay in the heart of the Sydney CBD, within a 2 minute walk to Pitt Street Mall with its many shops, restaurants and cafes. Rooms are spacious, modern and well appointed. Only downside were the staff who often seemed disinterested. Also found that calls to reception from my room went unanswered - including room service. In short, great hotel but staff service was not great.

Amazing central location. Close to eateries and public transport and the Pitt St Mall. There were issues with the lifts with long queues with 2 lifts not working. This was unfortunate as it was the King’s Birthday weekend. I would stay there again!

Great location, near all shops and easy access to trains and metro.

The restaurant on the lobby was too expensive and female staff was not friendly.

Location is excellent.

A very handy location, central to all shopping centers, train stations and Haye Park. The staff was very friendly, efficient and helpful. But allow plenty of time for the lifts.

Convenience is unmatched but I think the property could do with a refurbishment or some touch ups. The windows were dirty

Large love clean room & love the bathroom with large bath. Very comfy beds. Staff were excellent & breakfast great. Always try & stay at Swissotel if price is reasonable. Very handy for shopping & trasport.

Very well located and bit of a hidden gem. Good sized rooms, decent leisure facilities, and well staffed. But, terribly slow wifi (painfully slow). Lifts were being worked on during my stay (May 2026) and it was chaotic - to be expected, but hotel could have managed a bit better with pre communication to guests and signage about needing to push multiple lift buttons.

Happy hour at the bar was great, swift service and friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was great. Large variety of food and all warm and fresh. Rooms were well kept and house keeping was fast and reliable. The whole experience was 10/10. Will definitely be back💕

Perfect location. Close to trains and trams. Staffs are very helpful.
