Food at the restaurant was fantastic, front desk staff very nice. Our first stay here, great amenities. Property is older and a little dated but clean and comfortable. We had a great stay and will be back.

The restaurant serves food till midnight and the bar is open until 1am, the shuttle comes every quarter after and quarter to the hour which brings you to the airport, perfect place to stay if you have a flight from Halifax!

The hotel is tired. It does the job and the price is right. If I have a complaint it was that it took an hour to get a shuttle to pick us up when the hotel is only 5 minutes away.

The only positive aspect of this hotel was the included airport shuttle, although even the shuttle vehicle was old and run down. The room was disappointing from the moment I walked in. The bedding was thin and scratchy, the heating/air conditioning unit was extremely loud, and only half the lamps worked despite confirming the touch switches were on and the switch at the entrance was also on. Cleanliness was a major concern. There was visible mold and dust in the bathroom (I have photos), and the carpet was so dirty my white socks turned dark within 30 minutes. I ended up wearing sandals for the rest of my stay. The bathroom desperately needs updating. There was almost no counter space, the hair dryer smelled like a burning element, and the towels were more gray than white. With the toilet and shower separated and no bath mat provided, I had to walk across the dirty carpet after showering. There was no secure Wi-Fi, hallway noise carried into the room all day and night, and the complimentary breakfast was far from fresh or appetizing. Overall, this property needs significant renovation, better housekeeping, and basic maintenance. I cannot recommend staying here. Even one star feels more generous than this experience deserved.
