The property is dated but you can still feel the echoes of the 1911 Grand Dame she used to be. Excellent staff; Fresh breakfast and terrific pool - clesn, deep and made for swimming.

Very old, dirty. I would never stay there again! My two kids and I had no choice to stay there or else I would have changed hotels. We didn’t feel safe at all, needles all over the building. Drunks in the parking lot, we even found random drunks in the hallway downstairs by the pool. The smell of ammonia and mold literally made me sick. There was no heat in the room, no light bulbs in the lamps, the tv didn’t work, it was just horrible. The building needs an upgrade. The pool needs a cleaning and is unsafe for children. I wish I didn’t spend $180 a night to stay there with my two little kids for 3 nights. Breakfast was about the only thing that was good and that’s because we got a ticket to go to the detached restaurant. Never again!

We were unable to have the breakfast as we were travelling. Most places we stay start breakfast at 6:30am. Found 7:30 to be late!

Everything was good except for the housekeeping. We had to ask to get our room cleaned and get new towels. We stayed 4 nights, it was unclear if they would have looked after our room if we hadn't asked. Food was good in the restaurant and staff were very polite and helpful. Tea and coffee prices were a little high.

The staff was extremely accommodating and very helpful, but the property itself is extremely dated rundown, not clean and disappointing. The heavy Security was also quite a deterrent. It immediately made us feel like we were in a bad part of town.

Staff was very helpful. Hotel is definitely old and shows its wear. Breakfast was great.

Terrible experience—save yourself the trouble & book somewhere else. We chose this hotel specifically to use the pool & hot tub after a long drive. Upon arrival, we checked in & asked about the hrs, only to be told that neither was working. This was extremely disappointing, especially since it was the sole reason for our stay. There were no signs posted about this, & no compensation or alternative was offered. We then asked if we could cancel without penalty, given the situation. We were told we would receive a full refund. However, when we requested written confirmation of the cancellation, staff refused to provide it. When we asked to speak with a manager, the situation escalated unnecessarily. A security guard became hostile & interfered while we were speaking with the lady. They also spoke to each other in another language during the interaction, which felt unprofessional & inappropriate given the situation. Having written confirmation of the refund was important to us in case there were issues with the credit card reimbursement. At that point, the front desk lady admitted that the earlier info was incorrect & that we would not, in fact, be receiving a refund. When the manager finally arrived, the interaction did not improve. He was confrontational, dismissive, & unhelpful. Ultimately, no refund was issued, & no confirmation was provided. Overall, a very frustrating & disappointing experience, made worse by poor communication & unprofessional behavior.

Terrible beds , cot’s, fire alarm going steady through the night. Couch really stained an yucky. Order a 3 person room and third person had to rent a different room because the cot was not sleepable. Not a good experience

Completely misrepresents the rooms. The photos that you think you are booking is NOT what you get. We booked the jacuzzi suite. When we got to the room it was a very old room - no jacuzzi. When we asked about it they said 'all our jacuzzi rooms are under reno so we put you in a different room'. I told them that we booked that specifically for the jacuzzi and that they shouldn't have offered it if they didn't have it. We asked for a downgrade in a room for less, and they said they would downgrade us - but no refund. It was stay or leave. Nothing given as a refund, no comp for restaurant, no sorry. If you look at the photos, they definitely have renovated suites but we were put in a super disgusting suite. If we weren't short on time and needing to work we would have moved hotels but it wasn't possible. There was a mouse running along the floorboard, there was stains all over the couch and bed, tons of dust on the fan, broken dresser, disgusting stuff on the floor. Do NOT go there.

Older and rougher part of town. But it was good. Slept very well. Beds were awesome

Clean and with a magnificent view! A little dicey location but I intentionally chose that.
