Give Keisha a pay rise! From the outside the property does look a little aged but don't let that deceive you. Inside the lobby area and much of the hotel it feels very refreshed with the recent renovation. Upon arrival the staff were very friendly, especially Keisha, who walked me through the self check in, as well as the hotel amenities. After finding out my slight obsession with aviation, Keisha even upgraded my room, free of charge, to one with a view! The room was clean and tidy, as well as being relatively modern and in good knick. The bed was comfortable and bathroom (whilst being a little dated) was again clean, tidy and had everything you'd need. In the morning I needed to get to T5, the pod service was very efficient, effective and stress-free. I'd absolutely stay there again and would recommend it.

Overall a really good place to stay for the price and incredibly close to terminal 5. It’s not ‘pretty’ but functional with friendly, helpful staff, clean rooms and a good breakfast. My only negative was the shower - hard to control temperature and pretty weak.

I stayed in this hotel on my way to the US several times. It’s very convenient from Terminal 5 to take the pods from and back to the airport. Since last time we came through the check in area and process was very updated and much nicer. The reason for the 4 stars was that the bed/mattress was extremely hard- I got up with all my bones hurting!

A repeat stay here for us. Room was lovely and clean and we certainly appreciated the aircondtioning! Had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and both were tasty and very reasonably priced. Lovely terrace to sit outside with a drink and watch the planes. The service service shop in the foyer is very useful for snacks and drinks. Parking is easy and the driverless pods into the terminal make transfers extremely easy. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We hope to stay here again!

My first observation of the exterior from the pod station was it's looking tired, however once you enter it all changed. Fresh and clean decor, helpful staff and amenities all good. I would highly recommend this to anyone especially anyone flying from terminal 5.

The front desk help was very good. The restaurant was convenient and reasonably priced. The pod to terminal 5 is awesome. Kind people. Conveniently located. If you are outside the property, it is impossible to contact the front desk as they don’t pick up phone calls.

I had a little trouble getting to the hotel because the pods weren't working but I won't blame the hotel for that, I was happy with my stay there and the air con was marvellous, the aviator bar was a lovely experience, I'll definitely be staying there again although because there no lifts I'd have to request a ground floor room.

Nice room with its on air con unit, which was really appreciated as some units you find in the likes of premier inn don’t cope well in this heat. Friendly staff who are happy to help. Location is superb and it has plenty of parking. There are also intermediate exits/entrances so that you don’t need to lug around with your suitcases. Couple of downsides, the placement of the toilet in the bathroom is such that you struggle to sit straight as there was no room for my left leg. I am sure even a child would struggle to fit their leg in between the wall and the toilet and to make matters worse the toilet holder digs into your. Another thing that irritated me was the discretionary tipping when you order food, I missed this when ordering food the first night and accidentally ended up tipping. I don’t mind providing tips but would like to be asked first especially when it’s not mandatory and the service provided was ordinary at best. Their excuse to this was that it is mentioned in the menu in small print and that they assume the customers have already read and agreed to it. Finally, when checking in I had to wait 10/15 mins to be seen by someone. Considering how busy and big the hotel is I did not think 1 person at the desk was sufficient as there were others in the staff room behind. Overall, although it may sound like a negative review, I had a very pleasant stay, the food was brilliant and I’ll definitely consider this hotel again for future stays.
