I have used this hotel numerous times before an early morning flight and always enjoy going back. Convenient location for the pods and the bar and restaurant is great to sit and watch some planes. Staff extremely friendly and always helpful

This is a great hotel to stay when flying from Heathrow t5. The staff are wonderful and so helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The clincher for me is the pod which is a sort of people mover on a rail that goes to and from the Thistle and T5, it makes it so easy.

Exactly what you need for a pre- or post-flight stay. Be aware that the 423 bus to Terminal 5 will not allow you onboard with large cases. Prepare to use the pod or a taxi.

Needed an overnight hotel close to T5 to make an early flight - the pod transporter is always fun and works well. The Hotel has been upgraded and modernised since my last stay - a warm helpful welcome at reception, online checkin on a screen (and useful in person explanation of how to access the pod the next morning via the carpark/gate code), and room was spacious and comfortable with clean/modern bathroom and kettle! Had dinner in the Aviator restaurant - pleasantly surprised how good it was. Overall a very good experience and I'd definitely return when next needing to make an early flight.

Hotel a bit outdated but the rooms are clean and bright, comes with all basic amenities, no coffee maker but a hot pot with coffee supplies. Hallways are outdated with older carpet but overall premises are clean. Hotel has a cute airplane theme which my son loves bc he loves planespotting. Bar and restaurant has a wide variety of food and has a great patio that you sit outside and view airplanes flying by. There's no charge to use the patio, which is nice. Staff are nice and the dining manager Peter is very friendly, helpful with food allergy accommodations. Breakfast is not included in your stay and is an extra fee, unless you book a "room with breakfast". My only complaint is there is no water dispenser machine anywhere in hotel. No gym. Hotel has access to Heathrow T5 pods which you can take for approx 8 British Pounds to get to terminal 5 from Hotel as an alternative to the local bus.

I very much enjoyed my stay and watching the planes take off from the balcony. I just have one criticisms. Is that there was no bible at all in the draw.when ever I stay in Any hotel I always look for a bible. It doesn’t matter if u like a bible or not it has always been been a bible in any hotel. I travelled to Nashville and the first thing I look for in a hotel room is a bible . I don’t go to church and don’t preach.but every hotel should have a bible

I am an older traveller and had a heavy suitcase, I asked for help but told by the most unsmiling person that there was no one to help ( my daughter stayed here previously and told me they got some one to carry her and her husbands heavy luggage). The room had really bad stains on the carpet, under the kettle station it was full of dust. I didnt use any facilities . Its ok if you can carry your case as no lift . Didnt have breakfast, Positive is the POD is 2 m in walk
