Breakfast gorgeous. Hotel was amazing. And the staff were incredible. My partner had an accident, tripped of her own accord. All the staff on that night were just amazing. I was in bits when the ambulances arrived and the staff really really looked after me. I can't thank them enough. My partner remains in a coma but is going to recover. The staff at the thistle hotel were trained in first aid and saved her life. Thistle hotels will be top of my list.

Reliable hotel that we've used several times. Basic but well kept. Brilliant Pod system to terminal 5 means we return even when rooms are not very well equipped (no plug sockets near bed, small bathrooms). Always good value in terms of cost. Helpful friendly staff.

Very convenient location close to T5 and the pod transfer is easy but expensive for such a short trip. The room was comfortable and big enough for an overnight stay. Bathroom and furniture was old but worked ok. Very cheap for an airport hotel and would stay again.

It’s a functional hotel if you need a bed before an early flight from Heathrow T5. I tend to arrive via the Elizabeth Line and the instructions on how to get to the hotel from T5 aren’t obvious. Drop down to floor two and look for Pod Parking. Use the free pod to goto the car park, from there it’s a five minute walk to the hotel. You’ll arrive at a locked gate mid way, press the call button and the gate will be unlocked. Since my last visit, the reception staff have been replaced with self service screens. They’re functional but not a great experience to use. Slow response from the keyboard being the main gripe. Food in the hotel bar is fine and watching the planes land on the terrace outside the bar never gets old. So in summary, it’s a tired old hotel which is functional. And lastly, it does not have a lift.
