Staff was so nice and helpful.

The staff are friendly in service and always maintain cleanliness, especially in the restaurant.

It is value for money for such a spacious space. Unfortunately, the noise from the nearby pub/bar disturbs the peaceful rest until late at night (10/11 PM).

It's not very clean, and the food isn't very plentiful and tastes mediocre. It's worth the price. However, the location is great.

The service was good, the hotel was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was varied.

It was a good stay. I loved the big space, cleanliness, and comfort. But maybe the water heater could be improved because it was not warm, and the room is not soundproof.

It’s a well-maintained old hotel. I think the highlights are the spacious room and the big swimming pool. You don’t get that many in Jakarta anymore. The staff are helpful. Shout out to the reception, the breakfast, and the housekeeping staff!

Location is strategic, close to public transport and entertainment spots. Staff are super friendly and helpful, food is great. Didn't try the pool & gym, so I can't give any testimony. The only downside is the Wi-Fi did not reach my room.

It's so comfy and I like to share it with some friends to check in at Grand Kemang Hotel.

It's comfortable, but the mattress still tends to itch a lot. I'm afraid there are mites.

The towels smell and aren't absorbent. The TV is still an old one, which is really sad, and there's no entertainment. The Wi-Fi is also terrible. Please fix it.

Maybe because it’s an old hotel, the lights turned on by themselves while I was sleeping, waking me up several times. The bedding had stains and an odor, so I couldn't even use the blanket and pillow. On top of that, as soon as I opened the door and walked in, it smelled like sweat.

I've been staying many times at Hotel Grand Kemang since 2009. These days (since after COVID), I'm always so disappointed with how run-down and shabby it is. Back in its heyday, it was really living up to the name "Grand" - it was a lovely 4-star hotel. But now, it seems to be falling apart - it is obvious that no money has been spent on maintenance in many years. The rooms are dirty (especially the bathroom) and there was an iron burn in the carpet of my room. The carpet in the room felt dirty when I walked on it in bare feet. Many of the rooms are very noisy, due to the bar underneath - I needed to sleep with my noise-canceling AirPods in! Also, there is a lingering smell of cigarette (even though I was in a non-smoking room). In the hallways and main lobby, there are many tears in the carpet (which are taped over!). I book this hotel due to the gym, and it is also getting very shabby - both treadmills were non-functioning, never has any water in the water dispenser, etc... Also, I arrived late in the evening and had to wait 20 minutes or so to be shown to my room... I also had to extend by 1 night, and although they have signs up saying "book directly with us", the girl at reception asked if I booked online again - and it was a 300,000 IDR saving. On a positive note - the Italian restaurant at the front of the hotel is excellent (obviously run by different management). And mostly the staff are mostly friendly and trying hard. I really wish they would spend some money to upgrade Hotel Grand Kemang - to bring it back to its "Grand" name and back to its 4-star rating (currently I'd say only worth 2 stars).

In my opinion, the food is the best for breakfast, there are lots of choices and they are all delicious.

The bathroom equipment is starting to wear out, the toilet is shaking, the sink faucet is shaking.
