I stayed at UBS Hostel Yogyakarta from 19–21 June 2026 and had a very pleasant experience. The hostel was clean, tidy, and well maintained. I stayed in a shared dormitory with 10 beds, and luckily I got a bottom bunk, which was very convenient as I didn't need to climb the ladder. The location is excellent and one of the best things about this hostel. Many of Yogyakarta's famous landmarks are within walking distance, and there are plenty of street food options nearby. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I enjoyed my stay. I will be staying here again next week and hope to get a bottom bunk once more. Highly recommended for budget travelers visiting Yogyakarta.

I stayed here for 6 days. The place is comfortable, close to the monument, has hot water, and air conditioning. The staff is friendly. If you need laundry, they can help you. When you want to go home, they carry your things. For the price of around 100 rupiah, it's very worth it.

The hotel atmosphere is so comfortable like returning to your parents' house. Well-maintained old building and clean environment with beautiful garden. This was my first time staying at Yats Colony. The service was excellent. Check-in was on time, and we only had to wait a short time to check in. The room was clean and comfortable, and I really liked the swimming pool. The breakfast menu was varied and delicious. I really enjoyed it.

Even though it wasn't check-in time and the room happened to be vacant, the staff promptly took care of all the check-in paperwork. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the cleanliness was excellent. Access to Malioboro was also very close. I'll definitely stay here again next time.
