Mercure Resort Sanur

We stayed here for a week. The hotel is situated in a great location and has good facilities. The room was more than adequate and was nice and clean, although a little dated. Good breakfast and no problems getting a sun lounger either on the beach or the pool. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only minor issue was servicing of the room on several occasions where items weren't restocked. We would definitely stay here again and think it is good value for the money

So the Hotel is dated but functional. Our Room 184 which is a family room with bunkbeds as well as a second bathroom. The room was well appointed. The room was actually our favourite part of our hotel stay. The location is at the quiet end of the Sanur. The Restaurant needs a total overhaul. The food is terrible including the breakfast. The time between ordering food and delivery is unacceptable. The standard of food is unacceptable, the lack of simple cooking skills is something else. I ordered a pepperoni pizza at lunch it was terrible and cheese was put on last covering all other toppings. I understand this might not seem to be a huge issue however it shows a fundamental lack of culinary knowledge. The breakfast is just terrible as far as buffets go. The fried noodles are always from the day before and are only made fresh once the old ones have been consumed. The individual staff are super friendly, this isn't directed at them this is directed at management and the hotel chain. Service at the pool for drinks and food is atrocious.. For the price we would not stay again. 5/10 is the rating I give and that's only due to friendly staff and a decent room.

Lovely place to stay, if mobility is compromised consider something more central.

Very good position to the board walk, restaurants, yoga, beach. Not busy like the West Coast, but with all the spas and not overwhelming with shopping. Enough.

Beach front, amazing location, nice breakfast

This property is in need of an upgrade. But having said that we loved it. Never a problem getting a seat round the pool, great location and fantastic staff.

This was our fourth stay for myself and my son at the Mercure Resort Sanur for another fantastic family holiday. The hotel and rooms are clean with ample amenities and comfy beds. The gardens are stunning, strolling out from your room each morning into them is a real treat and brilliant way to start a relaxing day. There are ample restaurants nearby with loads of choice, even for my fussy 8yo! Each year we come back is better and better, can’t wait to visit again!

Older hotel and a bit tatty.. needs an update all round. Website showed gym but no gym there. Shower screen leaked out onto floor. Room service hit and miss… would replenish coffee etc but not every day. Very basic breakfast. Staff lovely and ok for price but just a bit old and worn compared to other hotels in region and has not kept up standards.

From the cleanliness of the property, the friendly staff particularly Anna and Brian who always go out of their way just to make sure our needs are being met. Highly recommended!

on arrival waited 2 hours for room then did not get room we paid for...

This hotel felt very comfortable. It was close to the beach for morning walks. The food was good and the staff was very friendly.

Great breakfast & great staff that provide relaxing & comfortable stay. The location is perfect for accesses to the beach & beachside shops & restaurants. Overall, the facility is well designed for tourists to feel vacation atmosphere. For a bathroom unit, it looks a bit old so it's better to be remodeled to make the facility look perfect.

Beautiful landscaping, beach access and friendly, responsive staff. When I checked into the room the A/C wasn’t working, they quickly relocated me.

It was a 3star at best. Bathroom and bedroom were dated, damaged and dirty. Also my room hat no hot water. I asked repeatedly at the reception to check my shower. They said to let it run more than 5 min …but there was nothing after 15min. So if your room is 179, be prepared! Also the guava juice and the fruit cuts were regularly sour on the breakfast buffet (at 7:30am in the morning)… not sure how that is possible, it seems it is not be prepared freshly in the morning and might be from the night before.

Rooms were unclean - plenty of bugs and insects. Bathroom, cleanliness was substandard.

A little dated but in a perfect location. Loved the staff, and they are very honest & caring.
