Really good counter staff, able to store luggage before check in, very good & impressive breakfast items, coffee to takeaway, beautiful rooms facing the harbor, excellent location to airport Flybus stops (3min walk to Ego restaurant), central of town. Best place to stay!

Absolutely lovely hotel ,great location for central tromso, fjord cruise departures, bus station.
Really friendly & helpful staff throughout the hotel, nothing was too much trouble.
Amazing, well supplied breakfast buffet.
Great rooms with an amazing view of the harbour area , just perfect !

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed. Customer service was beyond excellent. From the moment Jayla helped with the storage of our luggage to the minute we left, the sincerity and friendliness of the staff was simply amazing. Room had a beautiful sea view and of a comfortable size. The only faults I noticed were the shower area without a glass door (which meant leaking water in the whole bathroom during shower), and the knobs of the cabinet that made my fingers get caught in. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay. And oooh, the breakfast spread was huge! Even had vegan and gluten-free options. And not to mention the free coffee & tea at the lobby. It was certainly an enjoyable stay and I highly recommend Clarion Hotel to all coming to Tromso!

Great location, room, breakfast was great and staff are very friendly and helpful. The only disappointment was the roof bar is closed and would have liked to have known this as it was one of the reasons I booked especially for the northern lights.

The view was of the harbor and nice. Laundry was a company who took your laundry somewhere else. No laundry facilities at the hotel.
Check in was 2 hours later than advertised. Air did not work in the room so it was warm and stuffy. TV had no service. Beds were too soft for us, not very comfortable. Staff were nice though.

Booked the room for 3 pax. Only issue was that it was challenging to open 3 luggages. Have to shift around the room. Other than that, all great. Breakfast was good but pretty much the same throughout the stay.
Love that there is a water dispenser and tea for customer at the lobby.
Walkable to tour meeting points.

We had a brilliant stay at the Clarion. Location was fantastic, so near everything. We had a twin room and felt like we had plenty of space. Breakfast was fantastic! So much choice. Good tip is to get down for 8ish to avoid the crowds. We loved the sky bar, great drinks and fantastic view. Loved you could get teas and coffees and fresh water from the lobby. Lovely rituals toiletries in the bathroom too.

Fantastic sea view from our hotel room. Room very clean and warm. Breakfast had plenty of choice, but would like them to serve it a bit later - 10.00 am not 9.30. Close/walking distance to all amenities/ bus station and town. Staff friendly and helpful.

Clean room though room set up a little odd, for plugs, only 1 nightstand table to put phone(s) and getting to corner view location (had to move hanging light to see out it). Still overall enjoyed our stay and staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location, not a far walk from hotel to the main area and right by bus station and where many tours pick up.

I booked a superior room and boy was I glad I did. We were on the top floor, level 12 and the views over the water towards the mountains, Arctic cathedral, cable car were superb. The room was spacious, but I’d say the bed was a double not a queen. Breakfast was excellent and we had no trouble getting a table. There’s a coffee/tea station by reception which is available 24/7 for free use. Also some cakes/chocs in the afternoon. Location is excellent, literally opposite the bus station if using the airport bus and only a few minutes walk into town. Staff all friendly. Overall a great place to stay!

My stay was very good. Location is more than perfect and breakfast is very complete. It can be crowded at 8.30 but you'll always find where to seat. Bedrooms for one have little space for clothes. If they would correct that, it would be a ten for me
