Nice hotel with in 30 minutes of many attractions and restaurants

Excellent hotel all around! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

I just stayed for 4 nights in mid April. I had a nice, clean double bed room on the 8th floor overlooking the main road. Loved the view! Breakfast was decent every day. There was a nice variety of fresh fruit, meats, and bread. My only complaint is that the roof top terrace was only half open to guests during our stay. The side with the best city and sunset views was closed the entire time. I think it’s a seasonal thing, but I was very disappointed. Most of the rooftop pics you see online are from the side that is closed! The pool was also closed, even though it was sunny and temps were in the 70s every day. I believe I saw that it doesn’t open until May 1. I would stay again. The location was excellent.

Was initially given a room with a view of a wall in a internal courtyard. After complaining they gave me a higher floor with a partial view of the city. Hotel is wedged into an awkward spot so only premium rooms have views. Pool was closed. Location v central but too many ppl there

Excellent stay at the Hotel Emperador. Suggesting to keep the pool open even if it isn’t summer also to add more options in the terrace menu as well as in the lobby bar.

The photos are misleading. The hotel lobby looks grand and luxurious but once you get to your room it’s the opposite. Stains on the sheet, dust and dirt on all the furniture. The shower water kept back flowing and bringing up gunk from the pipes. There is no iron in the room, you have to call for one and they demand that you leave it outside the room when finished ironing. The carpet in the room had a weird smell and you could tell it needed to be shampooed. The walls are paper thin, I could hear my neighbor do everything. If someone walked through the hallways you could hear their entire conversation. The breakfast was okay. I’ve stayed at way better hotels in Madrid. I wouldn’t recommend this one. The only good thing about this place is the location and it was safe. If you’re looking for a better place, close to Gran Via and is actually worth the money stay at Barcelo Torre De Madrid. I told my wife we will only stay there when visiting Madrid.

The AC was perfect thats why i always book this hotel in Madrid Other than that everything is perfect,clean the staff super nice
