The best bed!! I slept in the middle of king size woke up a refreshed queen 👑 The room I had was on the wing with a balcony and I captured Melbourne scenery full of lights with a sprinkling of rain. Stunning. I was travelling through for my work. Room service was excellent and I enjoyed a good rest! Staff were very friendly. The building is stunning. I took a walk through on my check out. Historical. ♥️💫

Rendezvous is a beautiful hotel with a beautiful classical old world section and a contemporary part. Our room was lovely with high ceilings, clean and spacious and new carpet. The bathroom was small and a little dated but clean. Breakfast was a very typical hotel buffet breakfast, maybe a little uninspiring with mediocre coffee, scrambled eggs, beans and orange juice. Fresh fruit and bread were very good as were the chia and yoghurt cups. The lounge is very nice with comfortable seating and beautiful stained glass windows. Excellent staff and good drink selection. Overall we loved the hotel and found the staff exceptional. And a perfect location overlooking the river and near Flinders Station.

The shower flooded and wouldn’t drain, it took 45 minutes for someone to come and take a photo, tell us it would be fixed and then nothing happened. No follow up, no apology, no way to take a shower.

Customer service was not good this stay, not sure if new staff but we’re not interested in helping us at all. Felt like we were inconveniencing them by checking in. We were not given information about breakfast or any other information. Have stayed many times before with great service Unfortunately this has turned us off.
