The hotel is one of the best spots to stay in Melbourne. Depending on your room, you have beautiful views of Flinders Station. A short walk anywhere in the CBD. Food served in the hotel restaurant (Ms. Ava) is also great. I would definitely recommend the Rendezvous to anyone visiting Melbourne.

Great stay at the Rendevous. Breakfast had a lot of choice and was discounted if you purchased from reception the night before. Very comfortable room with good walk in shower. Friendly staff. Hotel is central and the tram stop for MCG and Rod Laver is out the front.

Design of bathroom is not great. Water from shower wets floor everywhere. Toilet is situated at entrance to shower so it's wet after taking shower. Good location right by Flinders street station and CBD area

The room was a dirty (shower and carpet)and the Manager was helpful to change us to another room, but the Hotel needs maintenance, is noisy because of the trams and elevators need new buttons. I would not recommended it.

Great one-night stay in a perfect CBD location, everything is right on your doorstep, including the laneways and Flinders Street Station just across the road. We stayed on the 8th floor with a lovely view over tothe Yarra, beautiful at night as it was during the day. Staff were friendly and welcoming, the room itself was comfortable, and while the bathroom was on the smaller side, it was perfectly functional. Would definitely stay again for a short city visit.

We loved the Rendezvous hotel for its prime location, near to Flinders Street station and tram routes. We had a fabulous welcome from Ryan on reception who gave us Brits lots of tips about places to visit and how to get around the city. It is a beautiful historic building, the public areas downstairs were gorgeous. Some of the upstairs hallways could have done with a good clean/vacuum and, although our room was well appointed and superficially clean, there was a lot of dust around the fridge and the carpets were grubby in hard to reach spots. The breakfast buffet was excellent, just one downside was a lack of hot plates. Despite a few niggles with housekeeping, we would stay here again.
