Ruby LISSI HOTEL VIENNA by IHG

No air conditioning. Staff told us to open windows but there were bugs flying in from outside. We end up having hard time sleeping. Bed wasn’t comfortable either.

What a wonderful hotel! Ideally located, in walking or tram ride distance to the sights. It’s rich in character, while having a contemporary feel. The staff were so friendly, from check-in to check-out, and the coffee they served at breakfast was excellent!

I booked this hotel because they claimed they had AC in the room. They do in fact have AC in the room but it does not turn on until summertime.

The hotel staff keep a low presence but are always very welcoming and willing to help. It is a wonderfully eclectic hotel. However I booked knowing the shower/toilet are frosted glass areas in the room but still not a fan of this arrangement. Also I do miss coffee/tea facilities in the room although this is available from a communal area on each floor. Breakfast was very good. A small selection but everything was fresh and having a barista coffee in the morning rather than coffee from a machine was a bonus. My only recommendation for improvement would be to have better signage on the stairs as it did get confusing especially when looking for the breakfast area from the stairs rather than the lift.

This is a slightly quirky hotel with a bit of a hidden entrance but the location is excellent and quiet for a city centre hotel. Lovely bar area and very near Shwedenplatz underground station and only 13 minute walk from Wien Mitte station

Lots of choice for breakfast

The room was striped back to the bare basics (no water or cups in the room, no phones to call reception, no fridge etc) it feels like a hostel for adults. The breakfast was below average using the chia seed pudding and smoked salmon to mask the lack of hot breakfast items. Although the staff were very friendly.

Location is great, room didnt get cleaned on out 1st day, we had to ask for dry towels then 2nd day missed sticking toilet paper

This is a great hotel in a great location.

Room was clean but at times felt dusty and bed linen was not great in my opinion. Location was great and the public areas of the hotel were also pretty good.

Tiny, odd-shaped room but we made the best of it. Probably would not rebook at that hotel.

A great hotel, steps away from Schwedenplatz, with live music. Such a great hotel, with an excellent atmosphere.

Everything from staff, to location, to hotel was wonderful. The only suggestion is an option for different pillows....I did have trouble sleeping each night. Otherwise, brilliant hotel. Would stay again
