Four Points by Sheraton St. Catharines Niagara Suites

Horrible stay. Got a king suite and pull out bed. Pull out bed didn’t have any sheets, had to ask but then the duvet had blood stain. Got a new duvet and had to put it into the cover but the cover had hair inside. Fast forward to third day and then we ended up with an ant infestation, ants migrating through baseboards and carpet. Because booking was made through Expedia I had to contact Expedia to contact management to deal with the problem. Expedia handled it reasonably well. Hotel was at capacity so initially told me all they could is offer me 2 breakfasts (even though we had 4 travellers). Offered to spray the room to kill ants but that wouldn’t have solved the problem and my young kids would have to breathe in the chemicals. Eventually moved us. Property needs updating including new pillows to replace lumpy ones.

Good location to university n staff are friendly

Suite was clean. Staff friendly. I didn’t like $8 parking. I’m checking into that

The rooms were clean only issue was noisy air conditioning

It’s very nice and quiet, except the first night we stayed ( Saturday) There were young kids there for some kind of tournament and the hotel allowed them to noisily run and holler in the hall past our room until 11pm even though we called the front desk several times. We had driven a long way and were tired. Couldn’t get to sleep because of it yet the front desk person allowed it until 11 pm.

Girls trip, room was comfortable and spacious for group of three.

The hotel had a power outage and did not inform guests checking in that this was the case. Went to the hotel to check in and stood in line for 20 mins to be told that we could not check in and they would call when they could. Several other ppl in our group insisted on getting their rooms and did but I wanted to be respectful so I didnt and was told it should be ready around 5 pm. I did not receive a call until almost 8 pm, we were out for the evening at this point so I did not check in until almost midnight. Breakfast was not the variety we had expected and everything was cold. The waiter did not offer/explain we could order eggs to order, had to ask for coffee 3 times before it was brought. It was not busy at all. The hotel did not even apologize for the ordeal or offer anything at all

Room was mostly clean with well established cobwebs in an upper corner of the living area. Rug was coming apart at entrance to bedroom. Bathroom had a lot of wear. It needs a complete renovation as the shower doors do not keep water from escaping & there is paint missing, chipping. & fading. Wallpaper had staining.

Pricey breakfast. Lots of sports teams running around but settled by 9 pm Room was roomy with separate bedroom Dimmly lit

Yes, it is a à la carte breakfast! It was really good and many options were offered!

We stayed the same weekend as a hockey tournament was happening. It was very busy and the pool was packed and over chlorinated which of course makes sense with the number of kids at the hotel. Being there without kids, it would’ve been nice to have been offered something like breakfast or an app at the restaurant because it wasn’t our ideal situation.
